Wow, so delicious. The flavor are amazing. Will definitely come here often. Customer service is outstanding, they Greeted me at the door and had a great conversation while my food was being prepared. I got the rice (so delicious) with lamb meat (so yummy and moist) a salad, a banana and a water all for $14, can't beat that. So worth it. I 100% recommend this place.

I recently dined at a delightful Somali restaurant and was thoroughly impressed by the flavors and authenticity of the cuisine. From the moment I stepped in, the vibrant aromas transported me to the heart of Somalia. The warm hospitality and friendly staff added to the welcoming atmosphere. The highlight of my experience was the aromatic and tender goat stew, a traditional Somali delicacy, bursting with spices and flavor. The sambusas were also a standout, perfectly crispy and filled with a flavorful mixture of meat and vegetables. The injera, a staple bread, was impeccably soft and paired excellently with the rich and savory curries. Overall, this restaurant provided an exceptional taste of Somali culture and cuisine, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic dining experience.

Great service and wonderful food! Ahmed was so welcoming and explained the food options well. We will be back when in St. Cloud!

We had lunch at Salaama yesterday and was thoroughly impressed with the food and friendly, attentive service. Ahmed did a great job of explaining what dishes were available to order and how they should traditionally be eaten. Our starter was the soup of the day. It was a heavily aromatic, spiced soup. Carrot, celery, garlic, cilantro, lime and a special blend of restaurant seasonings created a perfect blend of flavors in this vegetable soup! It was served with a whole banana. Plates of seasoned rice with a choice of protein (Chicken or goat, sautéed with onions and peppers) soon followed. Ahmed made the suggestion to slice the banana into the rice and top it with hot sauce - and we were glad as it turned out to be a delicious way to eat a banana! We were invited to come back again anytime to enjoy the soup at no cost. This little restaurant makes soup every day and feeds it to those who need it as an act of charity toward the community. It is $1 for the container if it is taken to go. These acts of kindness, along with the warm welcome and big plates of delicious food are reasons we will soon be back to show our support!
