The place had no liquor license when we went a couple weeks back (wasn’t an issue for us, but in case those of you wanted to drink just a heads up). The chips were great and you must try the guacamole! I wasn’t to happy with my meat choice because it tasted bland (ground beef). However, the chicken was good! If I go back I would get a different protein option. The rice and beans were alright, again seasoning - however the food came out quick and hot so that is good. The place a bit small once you get inside, which was something I was not used to and the place seems like it was still in the process of getting things together. I did hear from the waiter that the restaurant had recently just open though so it all makes sense.

If you are going for lunch or dinner, Sol Azteca is the restaurant for you, with delicious food and good proportions. Spectacular service and attention. Carcnitas tacos and sopes are my favorite dish, and I don't want to talk to you about chocoflan..., so you can go and try it yourself...

If you come to Sol Azteca, expect outstanding service, delicious food with actually reasonable portions for its price, and a clean atmosphere. I have only been here twice, but this restaurant has successfully stole my heart. The chicken chimichanga and some queso dip is my personal favorite, but they have lots more to offer that is equally as delicious. By far, this establishment has superior service unlike any other Mexican restaurant in it the area. The waiters are always friendly and polite, and it’s clear they care so much for their customers. Tonight there was a power outage in the dining area, but it did not hinder the service or the food quality whatsoever, and they are working on fixing it. Please, if you find yourself in the area, stop by Sol Azteca and show them some love. Thank you, Sol Azteca, for the remarkable dining experience.The other local Mexican restaurants in the area have some work to do to meet Sol Azteca’s standards!

Loved this place! The inside decor and atmosphere was great, and felt super cozy. The server was extremely friendly, and definitely added to the experience. The food was fantastic! We had the sampler appetizer, queso and two entrees. Everything was plated well, portions were generous, and just delicious food! The chips and salsa were an added bonus, and the flavor of the salsa was perfect to set the tone for the meal. Everything was really tasty! Highly recommend you check this place out!!
