Get there early, as in before noon, if you want the full selection offered. They sell out of items. I arrived after 3 pm and settled for their version of a Cuban, originally interested in the beef bbq. Happily it was awesome. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. I will be going back soon.

them those chances, and calling the establishment trying to understand what is going on... I am a Saint Louis park local and want to give the local business every opportunity I can.. I have literally never been a Karen, however this place is an absolute lie, disaster, etc. I'm talking in edible... like I said I have given the benefit of the doubt 5 times, truly hoping it was a fluke... I finally called to ask what is going and they hung up

I've been driving by this place for months. As a q hound I couldn't go by again without stopping to see what it's all about. What a wonderful little place. Great meat counter, absolutely awesome customer service and vibes. But, the ribs. The ribs. Hands down the best ribs in Minnesota. Great smoke, great rub, with almost just a hint of coconut and apple. It may sound odd, but it works brilliantly. Definitely check them out if you like good bbq. You won't be disappointed.

Delicious Cheesesteaks and awesome customer service. I like the authentic BBQ vide with deserts to match. Def check it out. They have an awesome breakfast menu as well!!

Disappointing. You know how you feel when your aunt, the one who has a interesting back story that no one in the family wants to talk about, promises you she will make grandma's famous strawberry jello dessert and , when you see it, she has altered the recipe? Instead of just strawberry jello and whipped cream, as the creator desired it, the aunt puts shredded carrots or acai on it. That's the way Papa Q's was to me. I had high hopes, given how the menu looked wonderful and the people are super friendly there but the food seemed very plebian. The Korean barbecue sandwich was it was not remarkable in the least and the pickled cucumbers and onions, from the deli, was bland and weird tasting.

Awesome sandwiches here, though I recommend taking it to go rather than eating in--it's the same business as Nelson's Meat Market, I'm not totally sure why they're listed separately but the sandwiches and sides are great.
This is not a BBQ place. An average sandwich deli. They were out of no caffeine sodas and forks. The little piggy sandwich was some pork with a bit of sauce added on top.

good spot for tasty sandwiches with a bbq twist. ordered via grubhub for carryout on a wednesday night. pleasantly surprised to see each sandwich came with at least one side, and two of the three came with two! sides: overall rating 4 out of 5. we tried the potato salad, deviled egg potato salad, cole slaw, and beans. all pretty good and the potato salads were very good. sandwiches: -chicken w almond on cranberry bread. super tasty bread. good ratio of sandwich filling to bread. 4.5 out of 5. -pulled pork sandwich. good ingredients; pork was a little dry and light on flavor. 4 out of 5. -pastrami sandwich: pastrami really flavorful and delicious. 4.5 out of 5 everything was packed up and ready when i arrived. fast and easy pick up. would and will come back to try other items!
