The Lucca Grinder (with hot fried peppers) is one of the most delicious sandwiches I have ever had. It is also enormous and very inexpensive for the size and quality. I look forward to experiencing additional menu items again soon.

So I live in downtown Saint Paul but I bike a lot. Lucca is not far off the North Cedar Lake Trail and I *may* have a loop saved in Strava called Will Ride For Pizza that takes me here. Is it 55 miles or so? Yes. Does it make me feel better about putting down a delicious and giant slice of a Lucca creation? Also yes.

But seriously, the pizza's fantastic. I've never had a bad slice here. The priorities here are clearly the toppings. Sauce is bright...

Swung in and had a meatball sub. It was one of the best ones I've had. The cheese was super stretchy, the sauce was just right and when they asked if I wanted dbasil I thought I would get a shaker of dry basil but no it was fresh and so good. Amazing place and I'll be back for sure.
