Coming from the west coast, best sour ive had in the twin cities. But that doesnt even matter, any beer would taste like the best beer when youre surrounded by such a great crowd of staff and regulars. I felt at home immediately

Steel Toe is a stalwart of Minneapolis… erm, St. Louis Park, beer scene. Taproom has expanded over the years, including outdoor space (though no heaters or fire pits from what I could tell). Only qualm was the taproom/drinking area felt a little sterile, which I know is common for breweries in formerly industrial areas.Was kind of surprised to see they had 3 barleywines on tap - that’s a lot of variety for a pretty rare style!

They have wifi and a lot of space, so it's a good place to have a drink and get work done!
If you're looking for well crafted beers this your brewery. So many microbreweries today have ho hum beers. Steel Toe is well above average. If you're an IPA fan make sure to have a Size 7.

It's been the perfect kind of secret neighborhood jaunt. A little worried what the new apartments/condos will do to the vibe. Great spot for dogs and kids too because there's good outdoor and indoor space.
