Really cool place with enclosed booths and comfortable seating. The decor is like walking into an old world upscale establishment with tall ceilings, chandeliers and rich dark carved wood.
Elegant crystal glass panels add to the charm and elevate the experience. Professional servers meet your every need with politeness and confidence.
And the food was an array of traditional Irish fare and delicious and exquisitely plated.

Love this place! Great food, whiskey, and beer. Vegetarian choices. Been going there for years and always consistently good, so I will keep going back.

As I sit here enjoying the night the food was excellent. The fish n chips was so good. The fish had a nice crunch to the batter and the fish fell apart but the chips were light and crispy. The Salmon was very good also. Now you have to save the room for the banana bread pudding. This was so good.
The Local is a feel that you are in a pub in Ireland. If you want the dinner and maybe a nice Guinness this is the place to go.

Actually had Guinness and poured a decent Black n Tan. Unlike Kips. Which ran out of Guinness the other night. What Irish bar runs out of Guinness? The Local doesn't.
The local has always been a great go to for a drink

Restaurantji Recommends
Disappointed in how I was treated by the hostess when I asked if I could have a booth. She flat out lied to me and put me at a high top when the place was half empty. I’m lucky enough to travel the world for work and eat at a lot of restaurants and I just cannot recommend this place based on my experience. Really too bad, as the fish and chips were pretty good. I hope they treat others better.

What a great spot! We just stopped in for drinks and found a wonderful atmosphere and a large drink menu. The service was so friendly as well. Next time will be for dinner!

If we’re craving fish and chips, this is our go to spot. The cheese curds and spinach artichoke dip are also noteworthy!!

Great food and atmosphere. Slow day being the afternoon of the 4th of July, but the appetizers and meals were excellent! The booths are separated by floor to ceiling wood and glass, allowing for easy conversation. I don't drink anymore, but there was a large selection of various beers.
