We Went here for lunch today, party of 6. It took 1 1/2 hours for our food to come. The server who was real nice, said something about a big takeout order slowing our order down. She told us after an hour and fifteen minutes waiting. If she would have told us when we sat down, it was going to be a really long time, we would have gone somewhere else and probably returned someday. Now, I doubt we will ever be back.

I absolutely love this place. Amazing burgers, cold beer, ice cream, malts and much more. The employees are all so wonderful and super nice. Fun little arcade/pool table room for the kiddies and adults too! Just a wonderful place all around.
Great family owned tavern! 🥰

I stopped in recently and ordered a cheeseburger, and while I appreciate the friendly service and quick turnaround, I wanted to offer some constructive feedback about the burger itself.
The patty was noticeably overcooked and had a tough texture, which made it less enjoyable than expected. It also seemed like the burger may have been “domed” during cooking to melt the cheese, which tends to steam the meat rather than letting it retain its natural tenderness and sear. While I understand this is a common kitchen shortcut, it often results in a burger that’s overly hot, with cheese that’s melted but not integrated, and meat that lacks the ideal texture.
I’d love to come back and try again, especially if the burger could be cooked with a bit more care—allowing the cheese to melt naturally and preserving the juicy, tender quality that really sets a great burger apart.
Thank you for listening, and I hope this comes across in the helpful spirit it’s intended
