Great experience. The food was great, the price was spot-on, and the customer service was wonderful. These are not your average burgers. For a while, I thought I was losing my sense of taste, but I think I just wasn't going to the right place. Fantastic job! Old time burgers.

One of the best hamburgers that I have ever eaten! If you like a juicy hamburger this is the place. The fries and onion rings were excellent also. Bathrooms need a good cleaning.

Cool little dive bar with promise. I've been here a few times but never for dinner. It was chaos. We put an order in for our kids right when we got there. They finally got their food 30-40 minutes later... after we asked if it was coming or not. It was busy so we were thinking it would come eventually. Clearly the server had forgotten to put in our but failed to admit his fault and instead rushed the order out and I'm currently staring at a raw chicken strip from LAST NIGHT. I am devastated to think that my kids ate this. Burger was okay. The chili was really good but lukewarm.

I'm a trucker who was on a break nearby. Only food within walking distance. Paid $15 plus tip for the world's worst cheeseburger fries and a soda. It was garbage. It was about as good as one of those $2 dollar store frozen burgers. Next time I'll eat my belt before getting grub at this dive. I wasn't even given a napkin.

We have been going to Millside for over 30 years, but sadly we decided we'll go elsewhere until they decide to staff better. They used to have 3 wait staff/bartenders/runners for dinner rush. The last couple of years they have one staff member waiting on all patrons, bartending and handling the pull-tabs. There are often 40-50+ people there for dinner hour and there is no way! Every time we go, people wait and wait for service/food/to pay their check.... They claim they cannot find help, but yet every other restaurant in the area seems to be maintaining a decent level of staff. Sad example of a once great business being run into the ground.

Nestled at one of the remote Saint Michael neighborhoods, Millside Tavern has captured our hearts and become a cherished destination for us. Its unique character shines through as the owners themselves seem to be the driving force behind this enchanting establishment. What sets Millside Tavern apart is the genuine touch brought about by the owners' direct involvement. The Tavern serves as a hub for both locals and travelers from near and far, creating a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere. The unassuming interior, while not remarkable in itself, is a testament to the place's authentic charm. The mishmash of designs that has evolved over the years contributes to the establishment's distinct character. One can always rely on the consistently delightful food offerings at Millside Tavern. The menu might be relatively small, but each dish is a delightful journey for the taste buds. Freshly prepared and bursting with flavors, the dishes cater to a variety of preferences. The drink selection is equally impressive, boasting a range of options including beer, wine, and a few choice Long Drinks. For us, Fridays have become synonymous with Millside Tavern visits. The personal touch extended by the owners is truly remarkable. They not only recognize us but also anticipate our preferences, often preparing our drinks before we even ask. This level of familiarity creates a warm and inviting atmosphere that's hard to find elsewhere. In an era where chain restaurants dominate, we find solace in the authenticity of Millside Tavern. We sincerely hope that this hidden gem continues to thrive, resisting the allure of becoming just another link in a restaurant chain. Our unwavering loyalty is a testament to the enduring appeal of this place. Millside Tavern is more than a neighborhood haunt; it's a treasured part of our lives that we eagerly return to time and again.

Best smash-bacon-cheeseburger I've had in a long time. Knowledgeable, friendly staff that you can tell are proud of the business they work at. Same family since 1938 with original bartop! Took our teenage grandsons for a quick dinner before a movie, would love to go back for same burger.

Our entire groups fries were terribly over cooked. I will say though the burgers were pretty good- based on the variety of food we ordered off the menu it's like they don't know how to fry things in a fryer but seem to be able to make variations of burgers and sandwiches just fine. Was overall OK. Service was wonderful. Atmosphere was good, but small and hard to get up from our table once a small group sat at the table next to us - we had to physically move the table several feet to get out of our table area.

The perfect country bar for locals to meet for a burger and beer. It's not on the main road so many would not know the place is even there. Bar food for sure but it is fast and tasty. There are many burger options and crinkle cut fries to boot! 1919 root beer on tap has my kids loving this place, along with pinball and a pool table. It's worth the stop if you are feeling like a burger and fries. It's not a big place. It's not a fancy place. But, the service is good and the people are friendly.

We Sat for two hours waiting for two mushroom Swiss burgers I finally asked the server why we hadn’t gotten our food when the tables around us had eaten and already left- the server checked and came back to our table and said that she forgot to hit send on our order. Then when we did get the food the fries and onion rings were just warm- the mushrooms were cold and appeared they opened up a can of mushrooms and just dumped on top of the cheese- yuk. The server did apologize and unfortunately she was the only server on Father’s Day - so I understand a mistake but the food was not worth the long wait-We won’t be going back.

millside tavern is the definition of tucked away as they are hiding off the main road off a small side street. but i can sure tell you that the flavor of their burgers aren’t tucked away! they don’t do much more then burgers as they keep the menu simple, which is just fine with me! a cold beer and juicy burger, all inside a classic tavern…perfect!
