We usually get the sushi and rolls, but this visit felt off. The freshness seemed mid to lower grade, and the portions of the main ingredient were noticeably small. Even the basics didn’t taste right - the wasabi had a strange texture and almost no flavor, and the soy sauce tasted different, almost like they switched to a cheaper vendor. I’ve always known Japanese sushi restaurants to use a specific type of soy sauce, so that really stood out.

I also ordered the shrimp tempura, and it seemed like the shrimp didn’t make it into the batter that day. 🦐

We went on a weekday in December, so it may have just been an off day or even a seasonal slump - everything in the economy feels a little off lately. I’m willing to give them another try in the summer when ingredients might be fresher.

Ordered delivery with Uber. Hot food was put in bag first with sushi rolls placed on top in plastic bag closed tight. The sushi was warm, wet and slimy. Sauces were at bottom of container. Inedible. Chic &shrimp was in a sauce like brown water.

The sushi and sashimi were very fresh and delicious. The Hibachi steak was very tasty and the portion size was generous! We love Sakura!

Utterly disappointing food at a very expensive price, to summarize the experience. We expected a decent sit-down place and quality food at the price. It's a Chinese restaurant pretending to be a Japanese restaurant. The price for all you can eat is $32 per person. What you will get with every meat and seafood is a pile of rice that you must eat. And if you can't, you get additional charges. Food texture and quality were disappointing. Some items were so sweet dipped and drowned in teriyaki sauce that they were downright disgusting. Waiter was rude and turned aggressive when we asked why we are getting rice with every item. We didn't feel safe and couldn't get out fast enough. I can't believe they're allowed to operate a restaurant with such deceptive practices.

This among the best Asian food we've ever had! The place it's self is less than the quality of the fantastic food!

I was pleasantly surprised when I was shown an extensive menu. I chose the all-you-can-eat menu for $29.00. My server explained that the servings were smaller because they asked that patrons eat what they ordered.
You can order as many times as you'd like. The all-you-can-eat option doesn't allow you to take home what you don't eat, to not be wasteful. If you order from the regular menu, you can take home leftovers.
