I had higher expectations for this place. I made reservations for a Friday night, so I expected it to be busy, but our server, Aaron, was clearly overbooked as he had 2 large tables in the back room along with ours, so we felt a little neglected. The back room had well over 20 people, so we got passed over, a lot. We got seated fairly quickly, but it took 20 minutes to get our drinks, and then another 30 before he came back to take our orders. Once the orders were in, the food came out fairly quickly. I forget the pasta dish my wife had, but she enjoyed it. I had the chicken parm and was hugely disappointed. It was obvious that it sat covered in sauce for an extended period of time, likely in an oven or warmer. The chicken had ZERO crust and was scolding hot. It was just a hot, soggy mess. Not what you'd expect when you're paying $40+ per person. I'm sure we'll give it another try sometime in the future and hope for better results.

Had lunch with my husband. The atmosphere and staff was lovely. I had the ultimate panuozzo. It literally was drenched and leaking olive oil, over salted with not really any flavor i could barely eat it. My husband had the burger and it was ok. I am from the city and this is overpriced even for mpls standards especially for what it is. We will be back to try something else as stp needs something local but hope to see some changes.
It was wonderful experience, which happened on driving through St. Peter.

I got takeout Fettuccini, which comes with a slice of bread. The food tasted great! The service on the phone was good too, and the place from the inside looked very nice, very professional feeling. Service for my food was nice and quick!
My food was pretty lukewarm when I got home, but definitely will not say that is the fault of the restaurant. From the time I picked it up, and got where I needed to be, could make any food cool down.
I am giving 4 stars because I was surprised at the portion size for the price. Even with a 20% discount, I did not think the price was worth the meal. Would be nice to see prices come down a bit.
But if you're looking for an actual, nice place to dine in St Peter, I would go here to Kavo. You'll spend more and get less than you expect, but the food and service is good.
Definitely is nice having a real dine-in place in St Peter to go to.

Food was amazing and the atmosphere is great! I was disappointed in the service though. I felt like our waitress was rushing us to leave. Our drinks were empty for 20+ minutes and we had to ask for another round. When closing the tab, was not told the total before her taking my card. Overall, it was a unique place !

Excellent Italian eatery. Not your typical Italian restaurant. This place goes above and beyond authenticity. Most pastas are made in house (yes, the noodles!) & the pizzas are traditional style, hand tossed and topped right. If you've never tried homemade pasta, you're missing out, big time! The staff was EXTREMELY friendly! Emma, Aidan, Mike (chef) & a few other ladies, were extremely friendly & their recommendations were phenomenal. We were stopping by for a glass of wine & ended up spending over $120 just because of the flavors, great pastas, vanilla bean cheesecake, drinks & atmosphere! Will come back again!

I am very excited to try more menu items. I have tried the pesto and shrimp pasta and a pizza. Both were good, but not amazing.... the best part is the bread and lemon butter... make sure you ask for that!!!

Called to make a reservation, was told only Manager’s can make a reservation for more than 8. My name and number were taken, and told I would receive a call from the Manager later that day. Two days later, no response. This was our 2nd attempt to visit this restaurant unsuccessfully.

Really neat interior of the restaurant, very tasteful but interesting to look at. All of the food we had was delicious and service was great. It's definitely the best Italian food in the area, everything was fresh, tasty and a bit elevated.
