A perfect venue for southern Minnesota! The Capitol Room is so unique and is one of the only venues in southern MN that offers an industrial romantic atmosphere! My husband and I got married in July 2024 and made a great choice! Megan was an amazing coordinator and takes her job very seriously and cares for her venue. Our wedding guests still talk about how beautiful this room was. Very grand and romantic. Wouldn't change a thing!

I think the thing that impressed us the most about having our wedding at the Capitol Room was how incredibly friendly and personable the staff were, making us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire planning process. We were also impressed with how convenient it was to have decor/centerpieces on site that we could choose from instead of needing to bring in our own. Having the getting ready suites, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all under one roof was such a game changer too.
Megan, our day-of coordinator and the venue manager, was absolutely amazing! She was organized, efficient, and always there to make sure everything went smoothly. She went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding day was perfect, and we can't thank her enough for her hard work and dedication.

When we toured The Capitol Room during our wedding planning process and met Megan, we knew we wanted to get married there. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and offers everything you could need! The Bridal Suite and Grooms Suite are very spacious and are such a perk of this venue. When you book The Capitol Room, you get the entire venue for your day. Megan was incredible to work with and we knew we were in good hands with her. Hiring her for Day of Coordination and Decor was the best decision we could have made. She handled everything and we didn’t have to worry about a single thing that day. She went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect, and it was. When our officiant cancelled on us 2 days before our wedding and I asked Megan if she would marry us, she didn’t even think twice and said whatever you need I will do it! We remained in close contact for the entire year of planning and she nailed it! I loved the on site beautiful bridal and groom suites and how the venue doesn’t need much decor because it is already so beautiful. I also loved having a separate cocktail room during the room flip. Megan was so extremely helpful for the entire year leading up to the wedding answering all of my questions! She decorated everything so perfectly and made the day run so smoothly. I didn’t have to do a single thing all day. I can’t imagine our wedding being anywhere else!

She was able to make my ideas come to life and provide more ideas to make our special day even more special. I can honestly say our wedding day had no surprises because of Megan.
