I decided to visit Waters edge via flying my seaplane to Lake Minnewaska. I beached my Aircraft at the restaurant and went in for a delicious meal. The service was prompt and efficient, and the food was excellent. I was particularly pleased with the family atmosphere. There were many families with young children partaking in the food and pleasant atmosphere.

We had a horrible experience this evening. Me and my husband got there around 620 we sat ourselves (which the sign said) about 5 min later the waitress came over handed us our menus and asked us what we would like to drink. We informed her we had two more coming to our party and should be there within the next 5 min as well as ordered our drinks. After watching our waitress walk around us even when were waving at her she never made eye contact with us, never came to get our friends drinks (they arrived roughly 635) and we had nothing to drink until my husband finally got up and asked if we could order. She was going around taking everyone else’s orders. Then, we had a completely different waiter come and take our order after sitting for an hour. I ordered the grilled buffalo chicken wrap and got crispy breaded chicken instead of the grilled. I decided not to make a fuss about it because I was starving. The waiter was great- but even asked a busser to grab our waitress so we could order. He didn’t even say anything to us and basically ignored us. I’m sad because the environment looks awesome. Just horrible service. Unfortunately I do not think we will be going back which makes me sad as it is a beautiful location.

It is seat yourself but no one brought us menus. We got tired of waiting and got drinks from the bar and my husband was so hungry he told the bartender he’d get salad bar while we waited and they said they’d send a server over. 2 tables that came in after us got menus and I went up and asked a group of servers if we could have menus. Finally they took our order and brought the food. On a positive note, the fried food was good and my son liked his mini corn dogs and onion rings. However, my fish sandwich had no tartar, my son asked for mustard because they only brought out ketchup, my husband’s steak tips seemed like they were deep fried and dry and he asked for horseradish sauce, I asked for another drink. The waitress wrote down our sauce and drink request and then went to another table where she sat and talked to the table for quite some time and then left and came back probably 15-20 mins later without sauce or drinks and said sorry, no horseradish. I said not to bother and just got boxes and the bill. $70 for lackluster food and lousy service. We won’t be back.

Real nice face lift; hope the bathrooms get done soon as well. Food is usually very good. A margarita made by Pauly is a MUST! Only wish they would turn the lights down at the happy hour/ evening time, bright lights ruin “the vibe”. Also wish they would’ve put high tops right behind the bar, for more seating that feels like you’re still at the bar; that being said, a nice divider would break up the big, open, very loud space. This place has potential to be even more fabulous on the lake.

Excellent food and server Madison did a super job. A little unkempt with bugs on the windowsills and aging restrooms, but food and service were enough to make us want to go back for sure!

Great spot, great food, great people. Got an IPA, cheeseburger and fries all for cheaper than a meal at McD's. Perfect lakeside location.
It was newly renovated and looking great! Our server was pretty inexperienced, tho. Forgot a few things, ordered mozzarella sticks, but got cheese curds. Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. Chicken was not grilled...looked like it had been thrown in the deep fryer instead. We didn't complain, but hopefully, things will improve. Would like to try again.

We hadn’t been here couple years but the new owners have done wonderful job remodeling inside and out. We were very impressed with food and service . We will be back more often again .

The service was terrible, took forever to get our drinks. If I wanted a glass of coke I'd have asked for one, I wanted jack Daniels and coke. My fiance ordered a wrap without tomatoes or cheese. The no cheese was the important part since she's lactose intolerant. She was served a wrap with both cheese and tomato on it. We sent the wrap back stating we needed it with no cheese, tomato, especially the no cheese part because she can't have dairy. About the time the rest of us were done eating, another wrap with no tomato but still had cheese on it was brought to us. Meanwhile, we were all waiting for our drinks to be refilled the whole time. If it would have been busy, might cut them some slack but it wasn't busy there was no reason other than not caring about the customers health that this mistake was made. I used to have a vacation trailer across the street from here and have been coming to this bar every now and then for over a decade and will never be back.

I ordered a wrap with no cheese and tomatoes and I clearly specified no cheese. My meal comes back with no tomatoes but still with cheese. I am allergic to dairy and this experience was not what I wanted to deal with.
