Went here this summer and had their wings which were fantastic! Had a reservation next door for dinner and after such poor customer service we left and returned to Brines. Enjoy another mixed bloody Mary and some more of their amazing traditional wings! Will be back again soon!
Absolutely love the place. Just had an awesome Christmas party on the third floor!!
My kids and wife were getting hangry and a lot of restaurants were busy but we were able to find a table at Brian's. Both the waitress and manager were friendly. The food and drinks came fast and were quite good. Good menu and plenty of drink selections. It was seat yourself but the waitresses seemed on top of locating new patrons and it didn't appear anyone had to wait long.
When I came in to get a shot of gin she gave me jack Daniels and when I finished it and paid she yelled at me and said take the receipt and said I spilt a little bit on bar I'll never be back they need to get better service it's just straight up sad.
The bartender was friendly but slow. They didn’t have any other workers helping her. The food came really slow and the meatballs were charred and hard like a rock. The Manager came to talk to me about it and couldn’t side with me about how hard as a rock they were. He said they make them to order but it wasn’t believed by me. He was rude.
Looking for casual place to have casual dinner for out of town guests Before sons wedding. Made all arrangements with Nick beforehand. We were thrilled with it. Very nice 3rd Floor River Room. (One person with foot in cast had little problem going upstairs with no elevator). Burgers were Amazing! Service was Amazing! Sarah, our lead person that night, was great. Full of energy, willing to do whatever we needed. Our bartender (can’t remember her name, sorry),was great, also. We were very pleased, and many guests told me throughout weekend how much they enjoyed it. Excellent Experience
Basic Bar food at its best! We went here for the Annual Burger in Town event. Brian’s doesn’t have one particular burger you need to eat, they let you pick any one. We chose two different ones. We had the Stillwater Burger & the Prairie Fire Burger along with tator tots, sweet potato fries, cheese curds & fried spicy cauliflower. All good and greasy! Restaurant looks clean and has plenty of booths plus tables & bar seats. Nice & casual setting. Hadn’t been here since the new ownership. They did a good job.
We were a table of 8 in an otherwise not very busy restaurant. Service was very slow and inattentive. I finally walked up to the bar myself to get a glass of water. Food was OK for the main part. Don't order tater tots - they were overcooked, greasy bricks. Even though we were buying 8 meals and beverages, we were charged 50¢ for one side of ranch dressing for fries. Really?? How about a 50¢ credit for the ketchup not used?? It's not the charge but the pettiness...we will not go back.
Food is average. What happened to Brine's?! Service was incredibly slow, and it was not very busy. Will not be back!
The name has changed slightly and the interior has gotten a slight remodel, opening it up a bit and replacing the high top table with booths. I had a large "Brian's IPA" ($7) which was apparently brewed by Lift Bridge and not great although I usually love Lift Bridge's beer. The size of the large beers here has shrunk as well... After debating over the extremely small menu for a few minutes, I settled on a Reuben with chips($9) The sandwich was OK, nothing I would seek out, but hit the spot in a pinch. Service was great though, Kaylin kept our glasses full and was right there when we needed something. It's always hard when an Institution like Brine's changes... I remember when the first floor was a meat market. There are always new places popping up in Stillwater, and I might prefer the Mad Capper over Brian's if I was going to eat dinner downtown again.

Food was only so-so. Nothing special to note. I was there on a Monday and the place was dead that evening.
This was a nice place to meet and talk without having to yell above the noise so many places think is normal. Good food, friendly staff, and a nice atmosphere!
