Rustic feel. It is an old tavern that’s been around for many years. Servers are very nice and good at their job

It was a great! We sat on the patio at 5:30. Good food, lots of family w/kids. I will go back again. My husband like the Mac and cheese and I had a Rachel that was good.

Kid-friendliness: Lots of room for the kids on the patio.

Flies everywhere!!!! We had to swat constantly to keep the flies off the food. It's not a family friendly place either, plenty of patrons swearing and vulgar. The food tasted fine, but does it does not hold up to the 4.5 rating.

Ambiance was nice once they lit the outdoor fireplace. Was disappointed that they didn't have my first choice which was steakbites as they online but not regular menu. Settled for a reuben sandwich which was very expensive and not good. In fact it was horrible. More fat than meat. One glass of wine and the bill was over 26.00 and throw on 6 for the great waitress and I won't go back.

Flies. Everywhere. Landing on everyone and everything.

Food came out colder than room temp. And this was after waiting close to two hours. Still tried to charge for a meal that was not consumed due to having been awful/flavorless/cold/missing common items for said dish.

Drinks heavy on mix. Bartender clearly did not know what they were doing.

Shots ordered on patio tasted foul. Bartender a total dick about needing correction. Where did you learn to tend bar, because you suck at it.

New kitchen staff was the explanation, with no offer of good will.

Manager should have, at the very VERY least, been doing table touches, if not stepping in to assist staff while overwhelmed during a half full establishment.

Don't waste your money here. And yes, they will take it, even when they serve you absolute trash.

Loud, crowded, and fun.
Despite the busy times, the servers are still very attentive.

We stopped at Cozzie’s Tavern and Grill for a mid day lunch. Every employee that we encountered was friendly and helpful. There was indoor and patio seating available. There was an indoor and outdoor Bar open. We ordered the Turkey Club Melt with Parmesan Truffle French Fries and the Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich with their new Onion Rings. Both were delicious and juicy. Served fresh off the grill while hot. Cooked to perfection. They also have pull tabs and have Bean Bag, Golf, and Volleyball Leagues. They also have occasional music entertainment. It was an outstanding atmosphere. Definitely stop here if you’re in the Lake Elmo/Stillwater area. They are conveniently located off highway 36.

Parking: I’ve heard it gets very packed at night and the parking goes quite a ways down the service road.

Went here twice, the first time was delicious! I’m not sure what happened the second time, but the chicken was soggy and just ultimately embarrassed me because I was hyping the restaurant up so much. Both times I went, the inside smelled strongly of urine. The first time I asked to sit outside due to this, and the second time there wasn’t any other seating available. As well as, the indoor booth we were sat at had the AC blowing right on top of us, causing our food to get cold within minutes . We asked about maybe turning it off for the time while we were there, since it was just a window AC and nothing extreme to turn off and on. they never did, so we rushed through our food and from then on we decided to go out separate ways from this establishment indefinitely. I strongly recommend sitting outside to avoid the urine smell, as long as you don’t mind some flies! The photos are from my first visit.

A perfect Wisconsin dive bar located in Minnesota. Beer, burger, and fries for me. Fries served hot and crispy. My wife declared her patty melt one of the best as well as her side salad.
