Great location and views of the river! The food and service was fantastic. We especially loved the walleye and the chicken wild rice soup. The interior is a bit outdated. If they could turn the fireplaces on it would add ambiance to the room. Also some nice music would enhance the dining experience. Overall, great visit. We will be back to check out the outdoor seating.

I'm a local and have been here on and off for 30 yrs. It's a nice location, but the menu and prices aren't anything to rave about...especially after re-opening post Covid. The place seems to have great potential, but has never really hit the mark. I'm sure it's passable for the tourists.

I'm so happy I visited The Dock again! It's been several years and I missed it so much! A few friends and I went for their happy hour 3-5 pm. We got 4 appetizers (charcuterie, board, spinach and artichoke dip, sweet potato fries, fried cauliflower) and glasses of wine! The view cannot be beat. You can sit inside or outside and see the Stillwater bridge and water. The bartender was super attentive and so friendly! Shout out to Emma! I can't wait to visit again for a full meal!

We ended up at the dock Stillwater due to longer than expected wait times elsewhere and we were pleasantly surprised! We were treated with top notch customer service and amazing food. It is right on the river so in the summer I’m sure the view is great. We got the New York strip and the whiskey salmon which were delicious. We will be back!

What a wonderful night we had at The Dock in Stillwater last night! The food was perfect and the waiter was so careful and thoughtful helping one of our party of sixteen with specific dietary restrictions. We could not have had better service or atmosphere and the drinks were fun and festive ? Try the “Jack Frost”!Dietary restrictions: The waiter, chef AND bartender were completely respectful, accommodating and fast!

Location: lovely, even on a foggy, rainy December evening. Booth was spacious and comfortable.Service: acceptable, but didn't seem very cheerfulDrinks: creative mixed drink specials, riesling was what I expected for $10Food: great potential, just uneven in portions, execution, and price. Filet was cooked as ordered (medium rare) and delicious, however maitre d'butter had already melted over the steak by the time it was served. Pork medallions were dry and the 4 small medallions were lost in the mushroom sauce. Whiskey glazed salmon was dry and lacked the punch of flavor expected and the wild rice pilaf portion was excessive. Seasonal veggies (glazed carrots and asparagus) were both excellent. Fried cauliflower appetizer was outstanding and we devoured it! Wild rice soup was good. Nothing was to the point that it needed to be sent back, however, after paying the bill, we all decided that the experience wasn't worth the price.

The ambiance was wonderful situated as it is right on the river. Lovely patio and a very spacious restaurant inside. Unfortunately the food was expensive, especially the "shareable" appetizers, with a limited selection, and everything, including the Brussel sprouts, was cooked to dry and overdone. My sister's medium steak was definitely medium well. The salmon was a nice sized piece but was so dry as to be almost tasteless. The shareable Calamari at $22 was also dry, and I've had the same amount of food as an appetizer at half the price. Too bad the food isn't as good as the venue. The server was very nice, but the service was quite slow for a restaurant that wasn't even half full. Kind of a waste of a lovely space.

Have been to this place a few times and it’s always been a good experience. I am appalled at the service or lack there of that I received today. It’s a sunday and this was at 3pm, not busy at all. Wait staff standing at the bar, hostess completely disregarding us standing at the entrance, no acknowledgment, completely ignored by all staff. Waited a few minutes, nothing. I do work management in retail and would never allow this complete disregard of customers! WTH Dock? Maybe retrain your employees on what there job is?

Several good experiences at The Dock over the past few months. Tonight we stopped by for an after dinner drink, and Anders at the bar was terrific. He added to the fun we were having on our 33rd anniversary!

My sister and I stayed right downtown Stillwater late October. Though it was raining, we walked the 2 blocks to The Dock. We sat at the bar and ordered wine from bartender Heather who was delightful and engaging. When we decided to also eat there, Heather had great recommendations on food and amounts and then took us to a nice table by the windows. And she was our server besides. Heather was so helpful and accommodating which therefore made the evening wonderful even though it was raining. Thanks Heather...you are the best!

We recently had a large group of people there for a celebration. Understandably things can happen and mistakes are made but it's how you go about fixing that makes or breaks it. With that we had a few people missing their food for over and hour and a half after putting in our order. We then proceeded to ask our waitress when we could expect our food. She took another 10 min to then came back and ask us what we ordered. Finding our original order on her notepad. Never once did she apologize or make things right on our bill. She decided to gossip with her co worker about how we never gave her our order. We found this out by when we were handed our food she responded with "she said you never gave her your order". All we wanted was an apology or a small compensation on our bill.

We reserved the North Room for a celebration this evening and it was wonderful. Service and food was great. Our group was around 15 people, and we had the room for 3 hours. Couldn’t ask for a better experience.

We were looking for a place with a view in Stillwater while passing through. The Dock was recommended and it was a great choice. The atmosphere and view was nice. The service was a little slower, but plenty friendly. Food was good. Parking can be a little difficult, but that whole area is a little difficult for parking. We've already recommended friends and we'll be back.
