Went in for pull tabs and drinks. The bartender was delightful. Pull tabs lady was super nice. Ended up ordering the charcuterie board. Definitely did not get the kitchen’s finest work. I looked up the menu and the charcuterie board looks gorgeous on the website! Ours had many components missing than shown. I asked and was told they were out of olives, fine. We got a handful of grapes, a handful of cornichons (tiny pickles), two meats, three pieces of breadsticks, half of the tray was crackers, and four cheeses. If you’re going to charge $30 for a charcuterie board, at least offer more than one veg and one fruit. I can eat cheese and crackers at home. We will go back because the service was top notch, but not ordering the charcuterie board.

We visited Gio's a couple weeks ago and WOW! First off the decor is gorgeous and the food (we had the pizza) was so good. I took most of it home and ate it the rest of the week! Support our Stillwater Businesses and Gio's SPOT ON!

Parking: EASY parking back of the restaurant.

A few friends and I biked from St. Paul to Stillwater and decided to check out Gio’s on Main Street—what a great spot! I tried the Pisa sandwich, and it was exactly what I was looking for—light, delicious, and perfect for not feeling sluggish on the long bike ride home. The overall experience was fantastic. The staff were super friendly, and they even found space inside for my colleagues’ bikes, which was incredibly thoughtful and appreciated.

Plenty of parking is available in the area too, making it easy for a return trip. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Stillwater and highly recommend this place!

My wife and I tried out Gio's (Italian). The place is long and narrow with a bar area up front by the front door. It was very busy and noisy there (but fun). We wanted to have a quieter dinner and they sat us in back in a very nice (much) quieter dining area in the back where we had some small (but nice) views of the St Croix river, and interesting pedestrian traffic as they walked to the Paddleboats. The wait staff was nice. My wife ordered the Gnocchi (Veg) which was excellent, although it was missing the promised tomatoes! I ordered the "Lazy Lasagna", which begged for more flavor! All in all a nice place and the food was pretty good. I've added photos of the nearby bathroom for accessibility questions. It's pretty roomy actuallly! We'll try the thin crust pizza next time!

Parking: There is free street parking along Main St, but that is often busy. You may need to park aways down the street from the entrance. There is also paid parking in back of the building which has limited parking spots immediately nearby. You may need to find a spot aways away (a block or two) from there too.

Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance from the Main St is accessible and there is also an entrance in back accessible by a ramp a ways down from the entrance. The space in the restaurant is a little crowded for wheelchairs, but doable.

Pasta was below average at best. Lasagna was like college cafeteria food.

Came here for dinner. The restaurant was surprisingly not crowded. Tried the bruscetta, lazy lasagna, and gnocchi. All of it was delicious! I'd be very happy to return again and try pizza since the pasta was so delicious

A cute spot, with a full bar and a nice little wine list! My kids and I shared the gnocchi, the chicken parm, and the prosciutto & honey pizza and it was all delicious. We will definitely be back!
