Fun atmosphere with decorations and enthusiastic staff. We had to wait a while for our reservation and we were given our first round of drinks on the house! Walleye dumpling appetizer was INCREDIBLE- will go back just to have this again. Tried specials for supper: surf and turf (sirloin, tempura shrimp, scallops), porcini-crusted mahi mahi. Dinner was excellent with appropriate portions. Ended the meals with a truffle cake that was beautifully plated and delicious. Was a great fancy night out for two!

I made a reservation ahead of time because I had planned a special meal with my wife. We arrived on time and our table was ready. We ordered the bruschetta, a couple of entrees, and drinks. My wife ordered the Gray Goose Martini and I ordered a local brew IPA. Portions were large on all (even the drinks!) and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. We can't wait to go back!

We had 4 appetizers, 7 meals and 5 desserts - all different. Everything was awesome. The service was some of the best ever. Great space. Can’t wait to go back!

4.6? Great wait staff... seriously they are solid. Your meat though... Frozen salmon, shrimp, and steak 100%. The salmon and steak were standalone gross, Walmart meat is two lengths ahead. Charge more, buy better food. Oil and balsamic presentation/bread was meh. Great drinks though!

Very understaffed and the food was mediocre at best. My chicken was over cooked and the waitress did not even check on us once. No refills on waters or soda and a disappointing experience for sure.

LOVE Marx! The menu is fabulous. The service is always spot on. Friendly and sociable employees. Every bite is as good as the first. The bartenders makes really good cocktails. I really hate to share our favorite restaurants because that means less chance of getting a table each time we just randomly decide to drive or ride the motorcycle to Stillwater. But, if you're in Stillwater, you "gotta" stop by Marx Fusion Bistro. We have eaten almost everything on the menu. Simply delicious....

My girlfriends and I had dinner at Marx Fusion Bistro 8/20. The chef offered 4 specials, most of us chose the Duo, which was Atlantic Shark and Grouper. I can't even describe the flavors because they were so incredibly foreign to me and just amazing!!! Best seafood I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying in MN or anywhere for that matter. I'll be coming back if I can get a table. My girlfriends all loved the duo and the service. Amazing!

Spicy Duck was awesome!! Old Fashioned is great as well. Wasn't thrilled with all of this last visit, but usually they are spot on...and the duck is definitely a new fave!

This was a great little place. We got 3 smalls and 1 dinner. The walley dumplings were amazing. Best dish we had. Sauce is buttery and slight acidity. Soooooo good. No fishy taste, sweet potato was mild and just left hint of sweet to balance flavors as well as hint of pepper flakes.Duck was well cooked on a wonton chip, this was not great. It was heavy, which duck is so that was expected, however it needed more greens to cut the fattiness of this dish. Something to brighten it up. Also it was heavy in Chinese 5 spice, which I do not love and that ended up being the predominant flavor which left the rest of the flavors lost behind that. The empanada was great. Another great plate, gooey cheese with tender meat, nice mango chutney was crispy and not heavy, so it was fried right. Would get this again as well. Finally got blackened scallops. These were good. Not great. We enjoy scallops, cook and order often. These were cooked perfect. The reduction sauce was delicious and worth dipping in. We subbed out risotto over noodles which was good. Made well. Not something I would say stood out at all though. Good plate, but would not remember it later unlike the walley dumplings which are now in my dreams.Dessert we got the Chocolate Truffle Cake. Now I do not love chocolate cakes, if you do this is worth getting. The texture shows the amazing skill the chef has because it was light and melt in your mouth without hitting the cake texture nor did it hit the density of a fudgy brownie. Simply perfect texture and again if u are a chocolate person get it! I would love to replicate this dish simply to learn how to make it so delicate.

Walk in at 5 and the place is empty. Hostess says no outdoor dinning and there are other places to go. Then says no tables and doesn't offer bar. Felt like the place is going out of business. Still had plastic shells up from covid. Never again!
