Portside proved to be the perfect venue for our private party of 25-50 people. The bartender was great and really down to earth. Other staff were good at their jobs. We had pizza and pasta which tasted delicious and were hot. Bathrooms are different, men's and ladies rooms share sinks out of their respective areas.

Would not recommend! Awful security that abuses their power. I was kicked out for minding my own business. I was just throwing darts at the club, and security walked up saying I had too much and had to go...but I only had 3 drinks and just had 2 glasses of water. I was even nice enough to buy some random people a drink as I got myself some water. Like hell, I had too much! I wasn't bothering anyone just kept to myself. Bullies! That's what the security there is. Should have never gone after my little brother told me he had made a stupid joke the security guard didn't like and was refused entry, completely sober too...It's an awful establishment, that abuses their power. But hey, if they don't want my money, no skin off my back. I just won't be going back.

Zero stars overall. Me and 3 of my friends went out to Stillwater for a fun night out. We wanted to dance while having a couple of drinks. We were really excited because me and one of my friends apart of this group went there the weekend prior and it was really fun. Well we didn’t even make it through the door as the security guard stated sweatpants were not allowed, even though the weekend prior I had worn joggers from American eagle with no problem. This is unacceptable as the security guard stated only jeans & dress pants are allowed because anything less seems like you are apart of gang, this establishment is not considered a high class restaurant but more of a night club. They profile based off of clothing, clothing that you can purchase anywhere including high standard classy brands. Would this establishment rather have their guests wear no clothes? I do not recommended giving them any business.

A Friend got kicked out bc she said “hi” to one of the security guards and then a friend of ours was leading everyone to the bathroom bc we didn’t know where it was. Stupidest reason to get kicked out of the bar. There was more security in there than customers lol. They were watching everyone like a hawk, one wrong move and you’re kicked out so don’t bother drinking. Then my fiancé and his group wanted to surprise us in the bar and they weren’t even let in bc he had “basketball shorts” on. They literally and clearly were not basketball shorts so the guys checking IDs might need some fashion lessons and the guy had to announce it to everyone else there too. Don’t bother going here unless you just want to hang out with security.

VIOLENT SECURITY TO A PREGNANT DD. My husband and I used to frequent portside pre-covid and always had an amazing time. However, our experience a couple Saturday nights ago was far from great. We brought my husbands siblings and their partners to celebrate a 21st birthday. I cannot even explain how uncomfortable the atmosphere was with the amount of security there is now, with a security person being about every 5ft around the whole dance floor and throughout bar. I am not saying that we were trying to do anything bad or anything but we wanted to have fun not be watched like hawks. We could get over this; however a family member of mine was grabbed mid- stream going to the bathroom by a security member for vaping (not a terrible offense that could of been a warning). He should not of done that and was kicked out. We were unaware of this situation and proceeded to go out to get him, thinking he needed a break.
We attempted to go back in and got through the first two security check-points!!! My BIL (who was kicked out) and another BIL (not kicked out) made it to the top of the stairs where they were met with hands on the back of there necks and screaming in their faces. The security was immediately violent and continued to be the whole incident. Our family proceeded to say we will leave (REPEATEDLY WITH HANDS UP). My BIL (who was not kicked out) should not be of been touched to begin with as well as my BIL (who was kicked out) should not have been touched just calmly asked to leave. They than flocked about 8 security people, pushing my family down the stairs, grabbing my pregnant SIL around her waist (our DD, who we had to drag out to the bars so we didn't have to pay for an uber) and yelling derogative terms at them. You may ask where was I in all of this??? I was at the bottom of the stairs watching the whole thing SOBER as I have a little one at home and was thinking about him. I was able to watch the whole incident and can confirm Portside security used EXCESSIVE force without trying to mitigate with reason from the beginning. At one point, there was 3 security members on our 100 lb. family friend, one even having their arms around his throat choking him. This was followed by the security testing my family to "bring it" and "lets go" insisting to fight once outside. While my family was so upset mostly that security had touched my pregnant SIL my family followed with the screaming saying that she is pregnant and they had no reason to be attempting to harm her or use physical force on her. WHEN SHE HADNT EVEN BEEN KICKED OUT PRIOR!!!! We all walked away just in shock of what happened.
My family was so distraught and could not believe that this happened on my SIL's birthday.
I have tried to contact the establishment and they have not answered messages, emails or phone calls as their mailbox is full.
We will never be going back there and portside is definitely not the same as it used to be. We are very disgusted with this behavior and will let everyone know to never go there.
I do want to say that I understand my BIL trying to get back in after being kicked out was not right; however, he was not drunk or belligerent during any of this conflict and could of been asked calmly to leave.

Stillwater class of 89. Was a a success. Glad we chose portside to have it at. Room was very large for our group. Food was excellent. The staff were get. They even took pictures for us. Had a great time. A group went to the roof. The views are wonderful. We all had a great time. After we went downstairs to Gio's. Jake and Arnd were great keeping the drinks flowing. Our server and hostess sat us were so nice. The food was wonderful.
Wheelchair accessibility: The owner had a elevator so we were able to use to get to the second floor.

We ordered stuffed mushrooms but got something very strange that looked like a meatball with marinara sauce but was not meat...Evidently, it was something the chef made up randomly that was not on the menu and it was a mushroom "meat"ball. It was the most heinous creation I've tasted in 39 years. If you see something weird on your plate, ask some questions. The service was interesting also ? We still may go back for the people watching and very entertaining bar staff ??

I went there with some friends. I stepped into a room since the music was so loud to talk to a friend on the phone. As I was talking on the phone a security bouncer grabbed me and escorted me out using physical force. I did nothing wrong and had nothing to drink that night. Instead of asking me why I was where I was or what I was doing he put his hands on me. My wife that was with me was scared and crying. I am a law enforcement officer and see no reason for the behavior that was demonstrated. The security here obviously have no training. I am very disappointed with how my night went there and how I was separated from my friends. I recommend nobody visit this place during night hours. I will be filing a lawsuit and am very disappointed with the way things are run here.
