We arrived with a group of 6 during a busy Saturday lunch rush. They sat us in a booth adjacent to the lunch counter so we could all be together….and then we had a surprise arrival of a friend we didn’t expect. Our waitress got her order in pronto and her food was just a few minutes behind ours. Staff were super friendly, really accommodating m, and best of all the food was really good—3 of us had the Reuben! Yum! The diner atmosphere was fun and refreshing. We found out that they have little to no staff turnover—they all love the place and have a great time working there. Definitely worth the stop.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options were great! So happy to see that since 2 of the 7 dining can’t have gluten.

The food is amazing. Our group of three shared the veggie hash, the avacado toast, a breakfast sandwich and a piece of banana bread french toast. The breakfast sandwich had hash browns on it and the most delicious homemade biscuit...making it revolutionary, and the banana bread french toast was devine with the blueberry compote. The food was complemented by the talented and charming server. Get there early, it gets busy and loud but the food is absolutely worth the wait! This place caught our eye because the parking lot is always full when we drive by. We ate here for the first time today and were not disappointed! The service was great (I wish I had gotten our server’s name), the food came out quickly and it was delicious! We will be back for sure.

This is a very busy diner, especially on weekends. But two of us were able to be seated right away. Everything was very tasty and our server was prompt and helpful.Our food and drinks came out in a timely manner and as an added bonus this place still had a nice small town diner charm and feel.

Poor service and meal. The server scolded a customer telling him harshly he needed to wait to be seated. (Apparently he walked in a little further than she would have liked) She served me a veggie omlet rather than and avocado omlett. ( I know it was a veggie because it had peppers and onions and no avocado) She said they probably forgot to add the avocado and never apologized but offered to get a new one. The new one was not made the same as I previously had it a few weeks ago. (fresh avacado slices) She had the cook plop what looked like guacamole on top. She told me they haven't used fresh sliced avocado in about 6 years but I had it only a couple weeks ago. It was undercooked so I didn't eat it. The only reason they are getting an average review is because I had a previous good experience with the wait staff and food. This waitress didn't even smile once. This experience would make me think twice about returning. I should have at least gotten an apology or a discount. They charged $3 for a cup of hot water and tea bag.

Yummy breakfast! Sat at the bar- as it was very busy but expected! We anticipated a wait but got seated quickly and good was excellent. Definitely will be back. Haystack was delicious! Solid spot!Parking: Get there early from what I've read- parking lot isn't huge and people were parked on the street.
