We came to Stillwater for a nighttime get away and stumbled upon Sal’s. We were seated immediately, greeted by our waitress, Penny with a smile and great conversation! The menus had great variety and was delicious! This place is worth the trip for us and we WILL be back! Thanks Penny for your awesome service that made our visit that much better!
We ordered the portobello mushroom appetizer. It looked like someone threw up on the plate, it was disgusting. We sent it back. Ordered the broiled walleye, worst walleye I've ever had and it looked terrible. It looked like it was boiled in water and it was very fishy. Also, the cook was eating while make food for the customers. Yuck. If today would have been the first time there, I would never go back.

Friendly hello when we entered - offered outside dining, it was a nice day but we decided to stay inside. Friendly and efficient waitress, cocktail and food was great! Jumbo shrimp with baked potato & wonderful green beans! My husband had ground sirloin and JoJo’s and really liked that. Lots of seating but not crowded.
