Delicious food (apps and entrees), friendly service, and large portions! I ordered shrimp fried rice and brought home enough for two more meals! Big plus that you can get a glass of wine or beer too. Highly recommend.

We were craving some Thai food and decided to stop in here for dinner. We were seated right away at around 5:30, but by the time we left it got much busier. We shared the pork egg rolls which were great, a bit on the greasy side. For the main course, I had the Chicken Red Curry with a spice level of 4 out of 5. It was quite a bit spicer than expected and I eat spicy food on a daily basis, so definitely go lighter on the spice level if you're not into sweating while eating. My wife had the chicken broccoli dish, which was decent. Wish we could have had fried rice instead of white rice with our dish, but they didn't allow substitutions.Overall, pretty good Thai food.

Foul. Upon recommendation from family we decided to try Pad Thai at Thai Basil. We were some of the first customers of the day and were brought cold disgusting Pad Thai. Not sure if it was a fluke but the waitress didn't even offer to make it right. Not that long ago you would be offered fresh food or a disount, no common sense left just blow your hard earned money on bad food.

I think this place may be hit or miss. We, unfortunately, were in the miss category. First, they told us they couldn't make any salads (but not why-- I'm assuming supply issue). The two appetizers we ordered veggie spring rolls and cream cheese puffs were good. And the Beef Fried Rice seemed okay... but our other entrees were ... ishy, at best. We ordered the Cantonese chicken on the special board. It was clearly cooked in rancid peanut oil -- the taste and smell were horrid. Our third entree was green curry with Chicken, medium spice. I'm calling out the spice in this dish because there is no way we received 'medium' spice -- the curry was bland AND much of the broccoli had visible black mold. With so many good food options in the area, this is a restaurant I'd skip. The service we received was okay -- but not something I'd call out or that would make me go back. All and all, I really wanted to like this place but it was expensive for what you receive, the food was mediocre (at best) ... basically, there are better options in the area and this is just not a restaurant I'll go back too.

This is one of our favorite Thai restaurants in the Twin Cities. Very good service. Very good food. I always get my crispy walleye or catfish with the red curry sauce and it doesn't disappoint. It's always fantastic! My husband always gets the Toam Yum soup, which he loves! Every once in a while, we get the curry fried rice too, which is also delicious! We have tried many Thai restaurants in the Twin Cities, and this is by far our favorite.

A great but small place. Food is typically great as long as you pay attention to how spicy stuff will be. Service depends on the day or who is there but we have never had it be bad. Definitely a must try for the area.

This place was amazing. The food was fantastic! The owner herself waited on us. She was the sweetest lady. So grateful for our patronage. We WILL return! THANK YOU!

DO NOT EAT HERE. READ WHOLE STORY. 3/4 entrees were good. 1 entree was so salty we couldn’t eat it. Talked to waitress, returned dish, ordered a different dish, that dish was good. All the while being very polite and understanding to the waitress as these things happen and not her fault. Problem seemed to be resolved. At the end of our meal the waitress brought out a Thai coffee in a to go cup and said on the house sorry about the issue with the dish. My wife wanted some so she took a sip and almost threw up. The waitress created some soy sauce spicy concoction (who knows what else) that looked like coffee and topped it with heavy cream. The waitress was 50-60 years old not some kid. I’m still flabbergasted as to why she did it. I am writing to the state health inspector, BBB, and Stillwater chamber of commerce. Any restaurant that messes with food should be shut down.

We placed a take out order over the phone. Asked for spring rolls with pork and shrimp and Tom Kha soup with chicken. We were told 30 minutes until pick up. Came in 30 minutes later and asked for our order and were told that they would have to “move your order up the line” because it was set for pick up another 30 minutes after the time we were told to come in. I explained that we ordered at 4:30pm and were told it would be ready in 30 minutes and it seemed like the host didn’t believe us. Waited for 15 minutes and finally got our order. When we got home we discovered we got spring rolls that only had lettuce, carrots and noodles in them. No pork or shrimp and hardly any herbs. There was also no dipping sauce for the spring rolls. Our Tom Kha was the equivalent of coconut milk gravy. I think because they moved our order up the line they just made some sort of coconut slurry as quickly as possible. It was pretty uneatable. At almost $28 for one large order of soup and spring rolls that were incorrect we definitely will not be back.

Thai basil is a tasty spot we go to regularly. However be warned, their food recently got much spicier. I can usually take 3-4 stars other places, and their medium hot is now too hot for me.
