The burgers at the Black Cat are fabulous! They are thick, juicy, and bigger than the bun!! The prices are very fair, not over priced. Will definitely be back when in Thief River Falls.

You will get charged extra for using any type of card verses cash and nobody notifies you. Food is mediocre for pub style and definitely a little on the pricey side. Service is a hit or miss. Grill closes way before the closing time so keep that in mind if your going last minute.

Great food and great service. Had the hamburger steak it was nice and tender and cooked perfectly. Great job! Prices were very reasonable as well.

If you're looking for the best store bought home cooked Tyson rubber chicken strips this is the place to go to. Onion rings were good though. House salad was decent enough assuming you like celery

This place has food and service so good, me and my buddy drive an hour and a half every weekend to eat here!

Food was pretty good everything we had was enjoyable. My only real complaint is that our server wasn't the greatest we sat at the bar and we barely saw them. They were sitting on the side of the bar with the other servers. I know we were not the only ones because the table next to the bar was also complaining about not getting any kind of refills on drinks. Other than that the food was good and prices were reasonable

We were a large group of 15 on the evening of high school graduation it took close to 2 hours because of it being poorly staffed the staff that was there did as good a job as they could but the management should have for seen a busy evening and had extra staff available

Haven't had it in almost 8 years. Had it a few weeks ago. Just as good, if not better.

It’s great to spend $70 on food to go only to find out my burger is raw in the center. I’ll be thinking of you later while I’m in the bathroom
