We were in town for college VB. Decided to stop before we left town; so so glad we did!! As soon as you walk in, the atmosphere is spectacular!!
This place has ruined me for all other breweries!! It will take a special place to uproot this fine establishment!!
And the fruited sour is to die for!!!
Thanks Johnny, you are a class act!! 💪🏻👊🏻
Great atmosphere, great staff! The deck overlooking the river is the best place to spend a summer evening. And trivia night is top notch!
Nice brewery right along the river in downtown Thief River. Had the Rusty River Irish Red and headed to the massive outside deck and enjoyed the view of River right below. The beer tasted malty carmel very good. Diets available and pizza chops and pretzels.
Great beers! Favorite pickle beer!
Clean nice new feeling brewery. Great view of the river a a giant deck for outside. Beer options were okay, they have something for everyone but -1 star unfortunately because ALL the beers were severely under carbonated. Hopefully the brewer can work that out. Nice staff. Ooo and pull tabs on site! Would go again though.
Great riverside patio and fun interior. Friendly staff. I didn't love the beer, but that's more of a personal preference. Hard to beat their deck/patio on a nice day.
Rivers and Rails is a great place to spend an afternoon with family! Their selection of board games is great and hanging out on the back patio when the sun is shining is something to look forward to after a long winter. The view is amazing and they always create an inviting atmosphere for all patrons.
This place is fantastic. The food and drinks are great and the staff is friendly. Also it’s awesome that they host live music. Definitely recommend!
Great beer. Fun place. The patio is right on the river with a beautiful view.
Enjoyed the beer and community. Objectively, the beer was better than I expected. Any brewpub can provide a couple of overly hopped IPA’s. Brewing something more nuanced is challenging. I was a home brewer for close to a decade in the early 1980’s, and brewed a range of beers. The citra-hopped, piney Cascade brews are just so boring. If you’ve had one, you’ve had them all.Rivers and Rails offers some very creative beers. Golden Emberz Golden Ale is a great example. Made with 95% locally sourced ingredients. “Hallertau tradition” hops. Very cool. Then there’s the Night Owl Pilsner, made with a Pilsner Malt and my favorite Saaz hops - ingredients you don’t find in every local brewery.Plus, the people are friendly and the sense of community obvious. It’s family-friendly, with offerings beyond beer.Check it out!

Really grate atmosphere. Nice an quiet with a bit of background music. Beverages on tap were good. I enjoyed the black IPA.
Friendly staff and great selection of beer
Thisssssss place! Great pizza, great beer and great pizza!!! Nothing but amazing all around from owners to staff. Best view in town for enjoyment ?
What a day, a misplay on our driving plans turned us “hangry”. The google map chick stuck it to us. We told her we weren’t mad, just disappointed. She didn’t care. Lol.No matter, Rivers and Rails was our stop. Just later than planned.Nice curb appeal as we parked. Old buildings recycled into breweries is wonderful. In we went, a nice greeting, thank you for that. Inside is a great space, but then we saw it. The back deck, riverside, view of the river!! Brewery with a view of the river, cmon. Heck that’s worth a stop, but better with a beer. Right?Beer, we went golden ale and night owl Pilsner. There were great choices, they just introd a Flanders red ale, a pretty cool brew. With hours to drive, had to limit the quaff. Both were very good drinks. They normally do food trucks, but a local event prevented that today. No issue pizza.Being hangry, I went cheese pizza and cheese bites. Yeah, over ordered, lol, one would have sufficed. But we managed. They were good, no issues.I’ve got to add, we make stops around breweries, yup. They are important to communities. Look at this, rehabbed an old building, using a great view. People are chilling with a beer, it’s perfect.IVE GOT TO ADD!! We left a personal item behind, wife’s favorite jacket. I reached out on line, they had it, and it went into the mail. It was in our mailbox long before we got home!!! So nice!! Great people, stop in, enjoy the atmosphere, the beer, tasty pizza, and nice people.
Friendly atmosphere, scenic view of river ! Clean and nice selection of craft beers . A must stop in and see what’s new !
