ordered the NY Strip. Flavor was good. Temp was good. Steak itself was one third gristle. Made server aware to show cook. She returned with not even an apology from kitchen. I more than likely will not return.

Ordered the ribs, with sides of sweet potato waffle fries of fries and macaroni and cheese.
The ribs were dry, but wet? Chewy, yet tender? The bbq sauce was flat out gross unfortunately. However the sides were absolutely delicious.
The waiter was lovely, the food was out in a reasonable amount of time. Me and my friend had both tried a single rib, she didn't even finish hers. And I only got a discount off of the rib, which was fine since I'd eaten all the sides.
Myself and the others I went to eat with usually do not complain we just let it go but this time it was the worst we have had in a long time, the baked potatoes were undercooked, cold and they came with frozen butter. The hashbrowns were not what I ordered, cold and very greasy. The onion rings were barely warm. The salad was good, the soup was ok. The 2 appetizers were ok. When we complained we were given a discount but what a discount .30 and .40 cents. $45.00 in food and it was the worst meal in a long time. And it was very early in the evening so a person would of thought it should all been good. I will not recommend the hive to anyone until I one day go back to try again. I had to leave most of my food behind while the others that were with me ate their potatoes anyway but very disappointed. I did have a good beer. I did keep a copy of all receipts.

Spent half hour waiting to place order no people waiting behind and waitress spent time cleaning tables instead of placing order.when I mentioned it she walked away without taking order so we left.have eaten here many times .food is good but service needs to be addressed

Everything was fine until ordered food. We waited 55 minutes and still no food. They were not busy. Waitress went to check and she said it would be another 10 to 15 minutes. Meanwhile other people came in after us and got their food and left and so on. We had to leave now after an hour and then they charged us $6.65 for to glasses of pop with no refills but they did let us cancel the rest of the order because we were now over our 1 hour lunch break. I told them we shouldn't have to pay anything since they apparently forgot to make our order but they refused. Awe full service. Never again.
