I really wanted to give a higher review of this place. The lake view is gorgeous! I am a fan of the decor inside and love the garage doors being open to the amazing patio in the summer. But twice now, we have gone just for cocktails, and while we were greeted rather quickly for that first drink, we had to go into the bar and find our server. The first time this happened, we left after the 1 cocktail.

I wanted to try the red beans and rice from their new chef. It was packed with beans, meat, and sausage, with a bold, authentic Southern Louisiana-style spice. I can’t wait to try his other creole style dishes!

We had a great experience coming here. My mother-in-law is in a wheelchair and it was very accessible. The bar in the back was fun and loud. But we sat in the front where the tables were more quiet and we had a great experience. The waitress was great and the food was really good. We got wings and an artichoke dip for appetizers which was good and then the fish fry and a Philly cheese steak sandwich. Which were all great. It was a great experience overall and such a great place....
