My boyfriend is the cook, so of course the food is excellent! The bartenders are sweet so that's a plus. In the summer they also have a ice cream shoppe! Can't wait to get a banana split!!
I highly recommend the Friday Fried Fish &/or Shrimp Basket.
The tap beer selection wasn’t that tempting. Eg. They still had the Leinie Summer Shandy when it’s definitely time for Octoberfest. No dark beers. However, they have a variety of bottled beers and canned cocktails on offer.
For dessert, just stop by two doors down for some ice cream. Midwestern small town goodness.

We never truly had a waitress, the ones we could catch never talked to us. It was like we were an inconvenience.
