The Wilderness at Fortune Bay

hands-down, one of the best public golf courses in Minnesota. Treat yourself to a round at the Wilderness.

Great course with beautiful landscape. Course was in great shape. Greens were smooth and rolled true. 5 sets of tee boxes which allows everyone to select appropriate length. Carts had GPS with touchscreen to know distances. Clubhouse and amenities are very good. Highly recommend to everyone for a great experience.

Greens were pretty rough for a costly round of golf.

We had a delicous meal at The Wilderness Grill. Views of golf course are stunning! Try the Chicken Marsala!

I absolutely loved this place. Course was beautiful, food at both restaurants was stunning and amazing, and casino was great, didn't suck my wallet dry like The Island did. Definitely a place to check out.

Nice course

I can say I genuinely enjoyed myself from the moment arrived to when I left. When I pay over 100$ for a round I have high expectations. This staff exceeded every single one of them. Whatever you're doing with your staff you're doing it right. Your course is a high 4. Your staff in an absolute perfect 5. Well done. I will be back. Thank you for a wonderful day.

This course was above expectations. Was absolutely an amazing experience. Me and 12 guys played this course and the service was fantastic. Ryan in valet was an absolute pleasure to do business with. Extremely professional. Extremely awesome. I’ll be back.

We had a great morning playing out here. I wish I had gotten the name of the wonderful woman running the drink cart but she made our day. I wouldn't advise going into the casino - it was empty and didn't have any table games.

We had a beautiful day for golf. The course is well maintained and the people were very friendly. A pleasant surprise up in the Lake Vermillion area.

Views, quality, and much to offer! As a local, bar food gets tiring and this place gave my hubby and I much needed beautiful date night. We arrived by boat and even received a golf cart ride up to the restaurant. We were waited on by the amazing waitress Abby (who made great suggestions). Outdoor seating offered, with a beautiful view of the golf course. We were very happy and will return! Highly recommend.

Every year we do a golf trip with 12 guys, this year we decided to try out Giants ridge and the Wilderness @
Fortune bay. Absolutely beautiful course. Challenging yet playable. Would highly recommend a weekend away to play this course. Glen (the starter) and Mark (the Marshall) were fantastic and made the round even more enjoyable!

Great course. Great condition. And they have a $15 off discount for military.

Played there for my first time this Saturday. Easy to see who to is a regular on the Golf Digest Top 100 list. Great views and none of the holes are forgettable. Awesome staff and food at restaurant was great.
