Our first time here. So charming and very friendly atmosphere. Our server practically read my mind this evening. She was amazing. The food was wonderful but our steaks could have used some salt/flavor but cooked perfectly. We will return because we really enjoyed our experience ?

Came here for a business dinner and it was PHENOMENAL! The scallops were delicious, the Brie was unique and so good, mussels-amazing! I could go on! Also, they had a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc that I’ve never tried before (and I’ve tried a lot of New Zealand Sauv Blancs) that I need to find, so I can have it at home! I wish they had a location closer to the cities, but it’s worth the drive!

Everything was top-notch for a special occasion dinner for my wife and myself (anniversary)We ordered baked brie, it was so creamy and delicious and paired well with the fruit compout and crackers it came with.I ordered a 10oz ribeye medium rare that was cooked to perfection and drizzled with the most amazing peppercorn sauce.My wife ordered Winter Bucatini (no added protein), and she said her dish was phenomenal as well. We finished the dinner with sticky toffee toast, and it was so devine.Our server was very friendly and attentive and made for a memorable evening. Thank you so much, we will most definitely be returning sometime soon

This review is really meant to provide feedback to what could be a great restaurant. We have eaten here several times at both the restaurant and the pub. Tonight, we were at the pub. Food was good and the service was great. Two salads, a soup, an appetizer, a side, and two drinks. We asked for another piece of bread and were brought one half a piece. Bill comes and they charged $2 for that 1/2 piece of bread that we thought was a courtesy. I also asked what the "non-cash" $2.40 charge was on the bill and we were told it was because we used a credit card. The bill was $89 without a tip and we were charged extra for not paying cash. Do you expect people to pay cash for $100+ meal? It is not the $4.40 extra we were charged. The point is that almost no restaurant as nice as this one would charge either of these fees. We like driving out to Victoria and The Noble Lion's food and service, but suggest you avoid leaving a negative impression by building the cost of 1/2 a piece of bread and credit card fees into the meal.

We had gone to the Lions Den for a drink. Since it was busy and we were sitting at a table had asked if we needed to order at the bar or if they came to the table. Was told very rudely that they would come to us. After waiting 30 no one came. ( which was fine understood the wait) Marc finally came over took our drink orders, and again we waited awhile. Finally we went up to the bar and asked about them. The order was never put in. Disappointed in this place. Will not return mostly on how rude the owner was to us.

Our 15th+ time here, we brought friends with for their first time. My friends travel the world and said the food has to be in their top 5 best and the filet was wonderful. We had a variety of everything and I agree food, service and atmosphere is always 5 stars.

I'm sure the food is probably amazing bit unfortunately my partner and I didn't get to experience it. We were told when we arrived (admittedly early for our reservation) that the people sitting at our reserved table had about half an hour left and our table would be ready. Understandable, so we left and hung out for half an hour. When we came back, we were told the table was finishing up and we could wait at the bar. Understandable, so we sat at the bar. About 10-15 minutes later we were informed that the people sitting at our table were ordering more food so unfortunately we could either wait for them to finish or "keep our reservation" (their words) at the bar. Disappointed because we didn't get dressed up for a nice date night only to sit elbow to elbow with other patrons unable to make eye contact with each other. If that had been what we signed up for, sure. If that is how things work at this restaurant I'll accept that and change my review but nowhere did they say that when we booked our reservation that we could ONLY sit at one particular table. We paid our bar tab and left because at that point we felt sort of passed over and insignificant. I understand that businesses can operate however they choose but this was just a very underwhelming experience from a place that we had heard such good things about.
If you like Manhattans or old fashions, this place has the best I've ever had. You have got to go and try them. The bartender Zach was incredible, had a good evening with friends and had a few drinks. Will definitely be back
