Found the place on a google search for bakery. What a great stop. The staff were friendly and outgoing, with even a friendly hello to our pooch in the car. She made sure that my pasty was heated up nicely, and put it in a to go container for our ease on the drive. I would love to go back.
On a family vacation driving down from Tower MN. We had to leave the campground early and skipped cooking breakfast. We're familiar with Virginia but stumbled upon this bakery. A nice little shop. Once you opened the door the smell was delicious. The bakery had displays of cookies and doughnuts. They also have lunch choices and had chicken pot pies that morning. Our family didn't know what Potica was. The lady was so nice and offered us a sample of the Almond and Walnut. Well...read full review
Love the Italian Bakery! Try to stop every time I’m in Virginia! Love the Sausage Pasties! Mix 1/2 ketchup & 1/2 Western Dressing! The girl working there told me this is the best & it is!!
