The place is never open and even if it is they never let you dine in. Food is mediocre.

I have been frequenting Jues since I was in the womb and pre COVID, was always top notch with the best Chinese around and the friendliest service. Post COVID, wow. Where do I start? I get a lot of things have changed for a lot of businesses but at what cost? Their buffet FINALLY opened after a long anticipated return. I invited a friend to come with me on a buffet day, but since she had already eaten, I said come with anyway so we can chat and you can purchase a drink. We get seated and the waitress asked if we were both doing buffet and I had explained to her I was but my friend was just having a drink. The waitress said my friend cannot sit there and not order buffet if I am. I even had her repeat it as I wasn't sure I had understood her. We were flabbergasted. I was paying almost $16 for a buffet (drink NOT included!) and got told we had to leave or both order buffet. Ridiculous.

We went for the lunch buffet for our first visit. The food was ok, not great. I really think it was because it sat on the buffet so it was either overcooking or sitting lukewarm. The egg foo young was a grease sponge. Egg roll wasn't crisp. Same with the sweet and sour chicken. Wontons were better. Garlic green beans and spicy chicken dish were the highlights. Servers were friendly and efficient. I just wish we could have ordered off the menu for hot fresh food. Next time will try carry-out instead.

For cheaper Chinese this place is really good. Better than most around the entire iron range.

When I say this is the best Chinese food I’ve had, I Mean it. First of all, the cream cheese wontons were absolutely mind-blowing, they were steaming hot and crisp to the touch, with a velvety cream cheese filling that satisfied each of my taste buds and a crunch that added amazing texture. Next, the fried rice with an enormous portion that could easily fill 2 people at an AMAZING price. It had the perfect ratio of vegetables and meat and tasted incredibly fresh and savory. Lastly, the pepper steak with tomatoes. It came with a giant portion, I had two people eating and we had more than 40% for leftovers, the steak was perfectly cooked and tender, with the tomatoes being slightly sweeter and adding tartness and contrast flavors to the spice-filled peppery steak. Overall 15/10 Experience, Absolutely amazing service, especially to the breath-takingly gorgeous phone lady (I believe Cloie was her name), she was super kind and absolutely lovely, AMAZING Food, and a very pleasant vibe of the store overall. I HIGHLY highly recommend Jues.

The buffet doesn't have a big selection, but what there is, is very good. You can also order off the menu if you want something different.Currently (Nov. 2023) take out only or buffet from 11 to 1:30 Tuesday thru Friday.

I called them at 7:35 and they said they don't take orders after 7:30. Why did they answer the phone then? ?‍♀️

Been going here for over 25 years, love it and am so glad dine-in is back (currently lunch only). We've never had a bad server or bad food and we love the dark red and black atmosphere. Food hasn't changed at all which is a great thing. In a day and age where people don't seem to want to work, we are thankful for those who keep Jue's running.Parking: Parking is on the street and if the block is full the next one down almost always has a spot open.

We got a take out order and the chicken breading was very very soggy we couldn’t even eat it. The food tasted like fast food we were very disappointed and we paid $50 so won’t be going back to this place.

No sit down service no delivery. Very inconvenient to stand at a counter and order food while others are waiting in a very small lobby.
