Sawmill Saloon & Restaurant

Ordered fountain pop, and a djohn chicken schnitzel sandwich with sweet potato fries. The pop was diluted, the sandwich was supposed to be smothered in cheese and honey mustard sauce, instead it's sliced cheese and a dab of mustard. Overall sandwich was dry but the fries were good. I asked for extra mustard, and waitress brought me a small cup of mustard that looked like had spit in it so I didn't touch it. Person working behind the bar was decent but served people that walked in after me before bothering to serve me. The atmosphere was neat and probably the best part. They did give me free drink coins that I can use next time I go there but probably not. I thought it would've have been better.

Pretty cool looking place and gives off a good vibe. Friendly people to chat with at the bar so it hit my checklist which is pretty minimal. The service was lacking. Just seemed to take a long time to get a drink or a food order placed with a low-moderate population in the building. The food wasn’t bad, I was told they are known for their burgers and it really was just a decent bar burger, nothing I will remember if you know what I mean! They did have other dinner options which I’d be curious in trying. All in all, just a regular bar but a fair place for some food and some conversation.

Interesting building. We enjoyed our meal but wouldn't recommend the fish tacos and onion rings.

We have been going to that area to visit our family always stay at the hotel nextdoor.they have got rid of all the old people and brought in new .but near has friendly as the old crew.

2 out of our 3 meals were very good...the broiled walleye was pretty tasteless according to one in our party. Really good beer selection and our server was great.

Shaina needs to be fired! Definitely gives this place a bad name! I typically have a good experience here until i met her! I ordered Mill wings which are supposed to be sauced. She claimed they weren't and then said she is going to ask that i don't order them again( girl bye you're lucky i didnt match your attitude). She also claimed she spoke with the manager and cook. The manager and cook told me they are sauced( and she knows that) and the cook said she never talked to them.YOUR SUPERVISORS SHOULDN'T HAVE TO APOLOGIZE FOR YOUR HORRIBLE ATTITUDE! Also seems like her coworkers don't like her either what a surprise! Definitely not "manager" material! Please get rid of her so I can take my rating back up!

Had the walleye tacos. They were mediocre at best. Described to have cilantro chipotle cream sauce..nonexistent and none of it seemed fresh.

Great service and good food. Nice outdoor patio seating. The music was good, but a little loud if you are trying have a conversation.
