We stopped in after time at the Boundary Waters and it was refreshing to eat good food that we didn't have to cook. Food was great and so was the service! Lindsey was very pleasant and attentive. The host was very nice but, no name tag so I cannot give her name. Overall a great experience. We will be back on our next trip.
Husband & I go for the country fried steak & eggs. Fantastic most of the time. Must have been a new cook that didn't know how to make over easy eggs though. More practice, we've all been new at some point.
This Village Inn location is a bit of a dichotomy. Their food is pretty darn good. Their buttermilk pancakes may be the best restaurant pancakes 🥞 I've ever eaten. The downswing is the amount of time it takes to produce an order. The time from our order was taken, to the plate-up, was 32 minutes. That's just unacceptable.
