We have been to this restaurant a few times & every time it is consistently busy. Sometimes they have evening specials.
They have a nice selection of pull tabs, which my mom loves! We had the deep-fried cheese curds with drinks & we were pleasantly surprised at how great they were with their homemade dressings. It came out quickly. It was hot, cheesy, & melty. The bartenders worked well together, across the board, they took care of all the bar customers & the restaurant seats. The bartenders & the expediters worked flawlessly together to make sure all the customers in the restaurant were satisfied. Was impressed.

Parking: This is a bar with a small bowling alley attached. It's not family-friendly. But parents do bring their kids in from time to time. The later in the evening the louder the music and beverages are flowing, and at that point would be when families should probably leave.

Wheelchair accessibility: They do have a couple of tables of low-tops that could accommodate a wheelchair. They are tucked away in the back corner.
Brighten it up. Make it more inviting & get rid of the dark lighting.

Really good food and drinks!! I highly recommend the Bloody Mary with infused vodka and the pickle pizza! They also make all dressings in house!

Just ordered a double bacon cheeseburger and fries. I didn't order the onion or tomato. Because I hate them both. Can't even stand the smell and aroma of onions. I didn't order from a menu. But also wasn't told it came with onions and tomato. So into the garbage it went. Extremely disappointed. $32 to $33 with tip for nothing.

Went on a busy night, so service was as good as you could hope for. Had the barbecue chicken pizza, and it was great.

So so good. An awesome experience again, this time for lunch. I had the pizza burger. OMG. Get it. And another to take home. It’s like a giant well seasoned meatball was pressed flat and grilled. Then topped with mini pepperonis, marinara, and melted mozzarella cheese. I’ll get a pic next time.

I have had so much love for the Garage. It was the first place that made us feel at home when we moved to waconia during Covid. Since then, it’s gone downhill. The bathrooms are repulsive (no matter the time of day or week.) the service is subpar. It is wildly frustrating to see staff hanging on the doors of the kitchen while food piles up under the heat lamps. My grilled broccoli was so burnt, the “char” was flaking off. We waited a significant amount of time for our entire order. When asked about when it was going to be done- the bartender simply said “eventually it will come out.” Meanwhile, people who sat after us, were served their food prior to us. Which included several of the same items my group had ordered.
If you plan on going for bowling, pull tabs, and just drinks, you will enjoy yourself. Avoid the bathrooms at all costs.

Stopped for burgers around noon on a Saturday…nice atmosphere, place was super busy. Service was slow which was totally understandable based on how busy it was in there…however the food was awful. Everything was VERY OVERDONE. Burgers were black and fries were completely hard as a rock! Waitress specifically asked if medium was how we wanted them prepared, guess the kitchen didn’t get the memo. What a waste of $60-totally unacceptable…

Place was busy and only had 1 employee as a waiter(ess). Sat for 25 min and was never asked about drinks or anything. Highly recommend not coming here.

I came here with a friend yesterday and it was an alright experience. The only things that caught my attention positively was the cheeseboard happy hour portion size (huge), the food plating was beautiful and they have an area to bowl which is really cool. The service was alright nothing special, my dirty plates sat at the end of the table for 20-30mins. The place wasn’t super busy so I am surprised the service wasn’t top tier. As I stated before the service wasn’t bad just alright. The BBQ wings were not that good but I was starving so I still ate them. They were cheap since it was happy hour time. I think parts of the wings were over cooked as some wings tasted burnt as you can kinda see in the photo below but they also had fat on them too so they were also chewy.. The BBQ sauce wasn’t good in my opinion. The cheese curds were good and a huge portion also. I enjoyed my time here but overall I would say the experience was just alright. I think I will try to come here one more time.
