We’ve been to Iron Tap a few times and it never disappoints! Today we went to celebrate my son’s heavenly 3rd birthday. Initially we were okay and my daughter seemed fine but within a few minutes she decided she didn’t want to be there… the owner (or really awesome and amazing bartender) came to our rescue and offered us dinosaurs and another area to sit so my 1.5 year old could move and not bug anyone. She didn’t know us or our situation, just saw an overstimulated mother. I wish there was more I could do, because you made our celebration so special. Thank you!

Iron Tap and the connected bakery are in downtown Waconia, with newly expanded street parking. It's a great place for lunch and dinner. It's much larger than it looks! The food was excellent and the service was great. Kid friendly.

What a nice place! The inside space is cozy and the staff are friendly. The music isn’t too loud for conversation, and the smoked turkey BLT is excellent!

We went at the height of dinner and ended up sitting at the bar, we sat right away - no wait there! I had a Cobb Salad which was fantastic. It took a little bit to be served but these people were busy! No one was standing around, no dilly-dallying for this staff. I was impressed. They were great! Fun little place!

Now THAT is a Minnesotan burger! I was very impressed with the speed of our food coming out, and it was extremely tasty. Our waitress also informed us that the nearby ice cream spot offers a slight discount if you present your receipt from Iron Tap (I believe they are co-owned?) which we did for dessert.
