I would love to give Iron Tap all 5 stars but they have not had a proper entrance to the restaurant for years now? So with this issue they have you sitting close to the door and cold air is constantly flooding in and giving a chill in their dinning area. When I go out to eat I expect to be able to take off my winter coat to enjoy my food/experience. The quicker they resolve this issue it would be amazing.

Great food. Nice family feel. Great meatloaf. The fish and sweet potato fries, Very good. Also like the unique cheese curds. And they close at nine and they nicely still let people in at 8:45 when they were closing very impressive:) I'll be back!

Their Caesar salads are prize winning! Starting with their always fresh and crisp lettuce and their home made Caesar dressing is beyond comparison! Their Texas Toast croutons are the best I’ve ever had! Always greeted with a smile, and served with a smile! A delightful hometown feel! One of my top favorites!

The service was great and fast, the food was phenomenal, it's a modern take on classic bar cuisine. Really great menu, tap list, and super fun interior.

I used to love eating here, but the last 4 occasions the fries I received were terrible. For an $18 burger you would think the fries would be decent. They used to be good.

The Iron Tap in Waconia has become a favorite. All of their food is consistently good. Their cheese curds are little fried squares of heaven, and their burgers are excellent - particularly the Zen Smash. This is a very family-friendly place to go for a good meal - and dessert (ice cream) is right next door.
Cool little place in downtown Waconia!! Very rustic inside which is nice. Good brews and solid food! Service was good and got wings and they were delicious and meaty! Liked that they are smoked as well! Will be back to try other things!

I came here for the first stop on a girl's night. Our waitress had a great sense of humor and was excellent at her job. Get the grown up grilled cheese, it's so worth it. Crispy, cheesy, salty, something even the pickiest eater would gobble up. Also, the ham and pickle- Minnesota sushi, say less my friend. It's a cozy, unsuspecting hidden gem in Waconia. I genuinely think it's the best restaurant in Waconia.
