Our first and last experience at this place. The hostess was rude. Didn't give us a wait time. Pretty much herded us out into the cold to wait for a phone call and when she did call didn't bother to say "your table is ready"...just hung up. Then when we got back inside she motioned to a table and said "over there". It took a bit to get menus, received a coffee with grounds in it, waited forever for our food. Mine was okay. We'll drive to Perkins in Chaska the next time we want a nice breakfast.Parking: There was a public parking lot down the way.

Amazing food in a cute town! We were visiting the area and stopped here for brunch and wow were we impressed. We love a good a Benedict and their Hollandaise was just the right combination of creamy and tart. I was also jealous of how perfectly they poached my eggs too. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. We’d come eat here again when we’re in this area.

I wasn’t very impressed with this place. The lady in the counter was rude. When my friend asked her what’s the waiting time she rudely replied I won’t answer that.?♀️ Food was ok and the space is so cramped. We’d rather go to Eggcetera, their service and food is much better.

Found hair in my food other than that decent experience if you have a fettish for such a thing.
My first time here last week. I'm still dreaming about the Crab Eggs Benedict. It has its hooks in me and I suspect I'll be headed back soon. Totally worth the 30 drive. Don't forget to pair that with the Champagne Mule. Friendly service and small town atmosphere. DELICIOUS!Kid-friendliness: Also cafe.

I always love the food here, but the employee at the front desk was so rude (a blonde lady) and made me so uncomfortable. So was the staff walking by us repeatedly carrying catered food to a vehicle. I get that it might be annoying to walk through customers but we were simply waiting to be seated and it's not our fault the place is tiny. If I hadn't already promised chocolate chip pancakes to my kiddo I would have just left before even getting seated. Our waiter was a very nice young gentleman. Couldn't taste any alcohol in the mimosa so save your money and just get orange juice. My last visit there wasn't as bad but the waitress (different lady) still wasn't the nicest. I see other reviews about this and wonder why people are in this industry if interacting with customers is so excruciating for them.

The gal at the desk wasn't very friendly, I asked to add crab cakes to my order and she said no! That's it just no, I guess I should ask how much the mimosa was cause $14.00 is ridiculous! My eggs Benedict was practically a mushy hard boiled egg... gross.. staff were mocking another group of customers which was very unprofessional, sorry won't be back!

Great food. Enjoyed The Shire sandwich made with thick cinnamon bread from Mackenthuns bakery. Delicious. I was skeptical about cinnamon bread as a sandwich, but excellent.

Pangea is a great breakfast or lunch spot! One of our favorites in Waconia. They have a large menus and serve breakfast all day. We love the braised short rib gnocchi breakfast skillet. For lunch our favorite is the Ruben. The salad and soups are terrific too, especially the chicken wild rice soup. For lunch we like to order it to go and enjoy at home.
