At first I was a bit frustrated with the person making our sandwiches and a salad but then a woman came over to help and was very friendly. I didn't catch her name but she has worked for subway for, I think she said 30 years! She lightened the mood and made my husband's meatball sub and even cut the bread the way they used to back in the day. We would come back again.

Extremely slow service even though not busy at the time. Order incorrect. Have had same issues in past and have not been back in some time. Tried it again today with same issues. Will be going to Jersey Mike's from now on

The sandwich artists need to go back to art school. Sandwich was a mess, Forced to order online for pricing but then I can't watch how the sandwich is made. Meat on one end and veggies on the other. Just dump the ingredients in the bag since I had to rebuild it anyway. Sign of the times I guess.

I ordered a Philly cheese foot-long on a multi grain bread, and It was the worst sandwich I’ve ever had from Subway. They forgot my pepper jack cheese added, and my provolone cheese added very little chewy steak
I don’t believe that it had mayo on it like it was supposed to, and I didn’t even seem like the toasted it because I couldn’t really tell because it was cold and I didn’t have provolone or pepper jack to melt on top of it. I was gonna go to Jersey Mike’s. And I decided to go to Subway, which was a mistake for the money. I paid at Subway and had a bad sandwich. I could’ve had a really good sandwich at Jersey Mike’s for a little bit more.

I placed a mobile order for a 1:10 pm pick-up today (October 29) at the Waconia location and selected curbside. When I went through the drive-thru, the employee working scolded me when I mentioned it was a mobile pickup order, saying, ā€œI need to come inside moving forward as it takes him too much time to grab my orderā€. I wouldn’t mind if this were a consistent policy, but I’ve been to this location over 20 times, and no one has ever told me this before.

Honestly, I thought I was helping by not making them run the food outside to curbside since I had selected curbside in the subway app. I would have been totally fine with this feedback if it had been presented in a different tone. The lack of customer service from this employee really makes me question whether I’ll return to this location, especially knowing the Norwood spot is the same distance and has friendlier staff.

The joke might be on me if both places are owned by the same people, but the purpose of this review is to encourage better customer service. Kindness isn’t hard, and it goes a long way.

If his tone had been different, I would have understood. Here’s an example of a better approach: ā€œI understand coming through the drive-thru might seem quicker, but in the future, could I kindly ask that you either park in the designated curbside spot or come inside to pick up your order from the shelf? We tend to get busy, and this will help ensure you get your order as quickly as possible.ā€

The saving grace for this Waconia location is the lovely female employee who usually works the later shifts. She’s always kind and thoughtful, and I appreciate her attitude.
