We had lunch at Oma's and it was excellent! They have a wonderful menu with many authentic German dishes. The bakery items were too good to pass up.
My wife enjoyed speaking German with the owner. We had a wonderful time and will be back soon. Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed!

We shared a wonderful meal with friends at Oma’s. It’s challenging to make a decision on what to eat because it all looks incredible but from what I can tell, every option is a winner. Last time we were there we had the veal liver (so tasty) and this time we enjoyed the creamy mushroom soup, fallenkuchen, and the hunters steak. Whoa!! You can taste the care and dedication in each dish. We ended with sharing almost every dessert amongst the table. Then took a cream puff for tomorrow’s coffee. If you are driving through Wadena you need to stop here! Thank you Oma and Opa!

What an outstanding restaurant. A group of 7 came to dinner service. Dinners were amazing from the venison special, duck breast, cordon Bleu, and so much more. Desserts were off the charts. Couldn't give a better recommendation. Authentic German cuisine. A must stop place.

Just the best in comfort food that doesn’t leave you feeling heavy and weighed down after eating. I'm a big fan of this place, and the Farmers Quiche did not disappoint. The service was top-notch, as always. The food looks just as great as it tastes - I was too excited and hungry to take a photo, and I'm not complaining! Can't wait to come back the next time I am in the area!

Although, we have our tradition American food...BUT, when you are at a German Restaurant, such as Oma's Bread and Restaurant in Wadena, Mn., you need to try their traditional German dishes!
I ordered Schnitzel mit Kartoffelsalat. Which is a tenderized breaded chicken cutlet with the real german potato salad!
Oh my! Delishious! It brought back so many memories of long ago, visiting my Oma in Germany!
Overall...a very pleasant eating experience. Food A++. Owner and staff was exceptionally welcoming, and pleasant.
I will definitely be going back! 😉
