Best donuts in MN!

I had ordered a baby shower cake and did a 1 hour session to create it. We had ordered a blush pink cake and had requested fondant but we were told it would be too expensive. We did clarify price wasn’t an issue but then were told people do not like the taste of fondant. We did go a different frosting route.

We emphasized that the cake would have to sit out a few hours before the shower and we were told that would be fine.

For decoration we ordered a baby “blush” pink cake with baby blocks on the top. We want the blocks to say welcome baby Lynnea.

We were given a hot pink cake and we were told it would need to be refrigerated. The top layer was super chunky as if the frosting was just slapped on. The blocks were not squares and instead of the words we had requested we were given rectangles with scribbled on shapes and numbers. The blocks were made of fondant, which we had requested a layer of the cake be made of, but then were told no.

When I had called to share my concerns the cake manager Rachel told me to look at my receipt as this was what I had ordered. Overall I was disappointed in the cake I had ordered and the money I had spent trying to fix it. Most importantly I was disappointed in the lack of sympathy and the unwillingness to take any ownership in the outcome of the cake. This cake was almost $150, so an apology or an
Acknowledgement of the errors would have been really nice.

This is the second time cold spring bakery has done cupcakes for my son’s birthday and they literally “knocked it out of the park” each time! (Pun intended haha) service was amazing and attention to detail was excellent. Thank you guys so much! Each time I’ve done this everyone has raved about these cupcakes.

One of the better donut bakeries I've ever been to, especially the best in central Minnesota. I've done walk-in visits as well as pre-orders and I've always had a positive experience. Service is very friendly and prices are very reasonable. My favorite donut items are the German chocolate and the apple filled triangle. When it comes to pies/cakes, go for the Georgie Porgie (German chocolate) or the Boston cream pie!

Disappointed. Have had many family cakes in the past from this location that have been absolutely beautiful, creative, and detailed. Writing is sloppy and was not what I was expecting.

We love CS Connection! I work for Gilleland and we purchase birthday cupcakes monthly to celebrate our employees and they are always a hit! Friendly staff and great cupcakes! Great with large orders!

I bought there peanut butter bars for 6 tiny little bars they want 8 dollars way to expensive for the size of the bars

Love to stop here to pick up a treat for my crew. From the cookies to doughnuts, they love it all.
The bread is the best tasting by far, much better than the grocery stores

First and last visit. Bought the blueberry coffee cake. Dry, tough, flavorless, rare blueberry, inedible. Threw it away. Very disappointing.

So many delicious bakery goodies. Will definitely be back!!!

Cute little bakery with a good variety of bread and sweets. I loved the key lime and lemon bars. We did get a half dozen of prepackaged muffins that were labeled mocha but only tasted like peanut butter, so that was odd and disappointing, but nice place!

If you are from the Saint Cloud Area, then taking people you know from out of town or friends from the twin cities to this bakery is a MUST DO. Everything is made fresh and there is lots of selections to choose from. I have enjoyed over the years their dounuts, cookies and delicious baked goods. They also have GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS. This place is a treasured family tradition for many.

It's nice to have this connection to cold spring's bakery in town. I absolutely love their Persians/cinnamon rolls. Great raised donuts and other pastries as well. They also have very very inexpensive deals at the end of the day or on their discount shelves! Can't beat the price for those goods.
