The burgers were good and the beer was cold. The staff was friendly and the locals even friendlier!!! Worth the road trip from Kentucky!!!

Ordered fries and a bacon cheeseburger for takeout. It was $12.95 I believe. Burger was a base hit and fries were very good. Gentlemen took my order quickly and politely and food was ready in fifteen minutes. All this on a Thursday afternoon. Good spot here!

My daughter and I were in town to visit the Laura Ingalls Wilder museum and needed a close place to eat so decided to try this place out.
My daughter...... chicken drummies-and fries with an Arnold Palmer to drink
Me..... Ma's burger without cheese( it had mayo, lettuce, tomato and bacon) with fries and lemonade
We both enjoyed our lunch and both commented on how much we loved the fries. Some of the best fries we've had in awhile.
Plus we tried the bar popcorn, which was wonderful and just how this type of popcorn should be♥️
If we ever have cause to be back in Walnut Grove. We will definitely be stopping back in again🥰

This is the only restaurant in the whole town so we had to come here for lunch. The food wasn’t that good. We were the only ones in the whole place. The chicken tenders are not tenders they are ground meat like chicken nuggets shaped into long strips. The waffle fries were ok. The burger was alright. The fish sandwich was bland. The cook had long hair and she didn’t have it tied back and didn’t even wear a hat.

A homey bar with delicious, unpretentious food. We sat at the bar for a Saturday lunch and had good service from the bartender the whole time. My husband had a Schells Firebrick beer and a bacon cheeseburger with tater tots, and it was all great. I had the grilled chicken wrap, which included olives, onions, and tomatoes with ranch; it was a great combo, with the chicken perfectly cooked and warm. Good seasoned kettle chips were on the side. It was a very satisfying meal.

Excellent (and cheap) food and beer. Billiards also available. Awesome small town bar (and grill and liquor store).

Friendly staff and the only place open to have a bite to eat in Walnut Grove. The vegetarian options were a pleasant surprise.

I was with a large group of people, and the cook prepared all that food, so fast and correctly was amazing. Team work.
