Two times now have sat for an hour waiting for a waitress to acknowledge we are in the building... not even a cup of coffee.. I used to eat here all the time but not any more. The little twink girls you hired don't know anything compared to the young man that used to work there. Too bad-your loss!
I ordered the chicken cordon Bleu sandwich. Expected a piece of chicken breast on the sandwich for 14.99. Just a breaded piece of chicken patty deep fried. Everyone else's order was good.

Our first visit to this business. The walleye breakfast was very good. Waitstaff did not come around for coffee refill until we were ready to leave so didn't get second cup. Place was clean including the rest rooms.
Wheelchair accessibility: This place is not wheelchair accessible. Stairs to be climbed at both doors make it not possible to enter. if in a wheelchair.

Absolutely amazing place to visit for breakfast. We stopped out of our way for Joe's and it delivered. Great food, good service, and a cool, cozy atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back for more Eggs Benedict, Smothered Hashbrowns, and Steak + Eggs!
Parking: Streetside parking downtown but had plenty of room for us even during peak hours on a holiday.
Wheelchair accessibility: They have tables with booth and chair seating, with easy to move chairs to allow for accessibility. There are steps up into the restaurant.

Have been to Joe's before and really enjoyed it. The food is very good. However, had a not-so-good experience today. When we got our bill, we were pretty surprised. Hubby had asked if he could substitute pancakes for toast. He's done it before there, and the waitress said he could. When we got the bill, he was charged an additional $9 for two pancakes! And, no, he didn't get toast. That certainly wasn't a "substitute" and the additional charge wasn't mentioned to us (and ridiculous for 2 pancakes). When I asked about my toast options, it wasn't mentioned that there was an additional charge for my choice either. And both our breakfasts were higher on the bill than what the menu stated. Hubby mentioned the basic price was wrong on the bill and it was changed. We didn't mention the "up charges" for pancakes or my toast, but we just won't go back. There was absolutely no one else in there at 8:00 am, so perhaps there's a reason. It's too bad ... as there are very few places to go for breakfast in this area.
