Normally LOVE this subway but they were closed over an hour early tonight! š
The young girl was friendly at first. Then I watched her put ham on my foot long sandwich and she only gave me 6 pieces. I kindly said āisnāt there supposed to be 12 pieces of ham on a foot long?ā She responded with āoh some of them are messed upā and added 2 more pieces. I dropped it.
She added what I asked for to my sandwiches but became silent. Then added a 1/4 bottle of mayo to one of the sandwiches.
I wonāt go back here. $17 for a footlong with not the correct amount of meat and tasted like nothing but mayo after I scrapped half of it off. And a six inch steak sandwich. No meals.
Itās been a long time since Iāve worked at subway, but Iād love to show her how itās done.
Photos show all the mayo and only 4 pieces of ham on half the sandwich to show I only had 4 on each half.
I was also the ONLY customer in there. At 5:50pm.

Service is very bad just kids working there and they don't what they're doing
I wish they would be open later. It isn't as vibrant as it used to be. I wonder if the store manager has changed.

Slow service, last few times I ordered online it takes em 40 minutes to complete my order for 2 sandwiches. Not sure what the hold up is when thereās only been one customer inside ordering.
Friendly helpful service. Suggested a sandwich which was delicious!! Suggested the meal deal which was perfect for my husband and me! We will come here again for sure!!

It was track and field day for the intermediate school in town. I ordered online knowing it would be busy. There were only 2 people working. I waited about 10 minutes and keep checking the online pickup area, but never saw my order. Then they announced they had no more bread, and that the manager wouldn't answer the phone. Then, we went through the tickets for online orders, and realized someone else must have grabbed my order. So they offered a refund...but I had a child waiting for a sandwich at track and field day. Very poor planning on the management part.

Good service good people family orientated... Clean place...
Whoever was working here around 1800 tonight needs a raise! Best subway I've had in years!!
Iām a former Subway employee, so I understand the pressures of the job and typically give staff the benefit of the doubt. However, my recent experience at the Waseca, MN location on 9/6/2025 around 5:15 PM was disappointing enough that I feel compelled to leave this review.
I was greeted kindly by the team member on the meat station, but the person handling the vegetables barely acknowledged me and showed little customer engagement. While mistakes happen, when I politely corrected an error (banana peppers were added instead of pickles), I was met with resistance and dismissiveness. The employee insisted I was wrongāeven though I brought a written list to avoid confusionāand muttered under his breath while removing the topping. That kind of attitude is unacceptable in customer service.
I was also overcharged for a regular chicken teriyaki sub (charged as an All-Star), and when I got homeā20 minutes awayāI discovered that one sub was missing entirely, and another was incorrect. We had to drive back to the store to get it fixed. While the issue was eventually resolved, the situation caused unnecessary frustration, especially since one of the missing subs was for my daughter.
This isnāt the first time Iāve had an issue at this location. Between the lack of attention to detail, poor customer service, and disregard for company standards (like proper hygiene and uniform policy), I can no longer recommend this Subway. I truly hope management steps in to retrain staff and refocus on providing the quality service that customersāand the brandādeserve.

Genuinely good experience. I don't know what some of the other reviews are on about, but it's clear to me these employees are hard working, responsible and respectful. All health codes followed. The only issue I noticed was actually a customer being rude and making a somewhat racist comment. The employees took it in stride and continued serving them.
Basically, this is the only place in this town that's really worth going to.
I tried calling the subway and the lady that answered the phone was being very rude and snippy with me on the phone. She was sighing when I was trying to tell her what I wanted. I was polite and very nice but she was rude and snippy. Then when we went there to pick it up the guy was saying that we were being an asshole because we didnāt understand why they didnāt make the sandwich. Also we asked for the managerās number and corporates number. But they didnāt want to give it to us. They also said that we have to pay for a sandwich that was never made. Unbelievably the worst service I have ever had at any food service place.
People like to complain about this Subway but Iāve been coming here since I was a kid and never once I have not had a good experience. The food is excellent and the customer service has always been above and beyond. Thank you.
DO NOT FOLLOW HEALTH CODE!
Watched a clearly sick employee, not cover his mouth while coughing, but still getting the germs all over his hand (and the meat and cheese station). Requested he stop putting on a glove to wash his hands, ignored us so we kept insisting, and the other employee told us to stop being disrespectful or we could leave. The sick employee stated that's why they wear gloves (health code states washing hands immediately before gloves), then later argued he was going to wash his hands, apparently after putting on gloves.
Didn't know it was disrespectful to force health and safety guidelines.
UPDATE: the sick employee was the managers son and she insists he wasn't sick, covered his mouth (I saw the spittle), and refused to talk where there was cameras. Also waited until I was leaving to say she wrote him up. It's also apparently ok to leave 2 minors in charge of the store, because that's all who was working at the time.
No apologies, no sanitation happened, immediately on the defensive because of this review, no accountability, and refused to let me say my piece without interrupting me and saying I was angry when I wasn't. I now know where the child learned to change his story to keep claiming innocence while being disrespectful.
Rude employees telling people to leave when they are simply asking for proper food and health safety protocols to be followed. Entire shift should be let go in the face of such disregard for proper safety and etiquette.
