My husband and I ate here for the first time for date night for our anniversary. Very good pizza! The staff was attentive and courteous. We will definitely be back!

I have been eating at Yellow Mushroom since the early 1970’s and know the restaurant well. Had some great experiences and some challenges over the years but my visit today was great! The pizza was done to perfection and a real throwback to the quality I remember and expect. The service was fantastic too! Quick, efficient, and very friendly. The owners were engaged in the food prep and service and you could tell great care was given to the details. The restaurant was also clean and well organized. Definitely give Yellow Mushroom a visit, especially if you have not been there in a while. The new owners are great!

A great place to meet friends for food and conversation. Quiet atmosphere makes for easy conversations. Excellent pizza menu, salads and chicken dinners. Don't forget the ice-cream, a great selection of hand dipped favorites that compliment any meal 😋. My favorite is the 1968 pizza.

Took the granddaughters for lunch. Cheese pizza for one granddaughter and it was good but everything else was not. One granddaughter got chocolate milk (and as told pop wasn’t available due to no carbonation ) which was awful. Other got white milk and when she was done, there were chunks of white in the bottom of the glass. Kind of like they used powdered milk and didn’t mix it. Got macaroni and cheese for the other granddaughter which was the usual Kraft macaroni and cheese. Not good. In leaving, I took the glass up to the counter and said we weren’t paying for this. She stated “it looked like hell” and then apologized for cursing. But then continued to state “she’d be pissed too”. Told me she didn’t charge us for it. Yhe Yellow Mushroom always had such a good reputation. Don’t know what’s going on but a very disappointing experience. Will never go there again,

I was born and raised in Waseca and Yellow Mushroom pizza was and still is my favorite pizza. I moved out of state 26 years ago, yet every time we come back here to visit it is a MUST for us to stop here and get pizza. There is no place like it at all. The same love I have for this place also goes for my husband and our three kids who are all adults now! They always make sure that we have to eat here and grab a pizza every time we come back!!

I tried the Pizza Buffet. Quality of the pizza was below average in my opinion. Wait got refills on drinks for other tables and never asked me and I’m disabled. At $16 for the buffet all it had was pizza. No salad, nothing extra. By far the worst pizza buffet I’ve ever been to. I definitely will not be back. If you’re going to charge $16 for a pizza buffet where all you serve is below average pizza, you better at least have other things to eat like a sslad bar attached. Could have went to pizza ranch where you get better choices of pizza, chicken , mashed potatoes , salad bar, desert bar and also a senior discount. Plus more

We ordered a chicken dinner with an extra side. Bread and side missing from order. Fortunately I have learned to check our order before leaving. The girl said, “the fry cook always misses the bread.” Maybe they could double check the order if they know it always happens. The mashed potatoes were dry and very little gravy. The coleslaw is different than in the past :(. The week before our pizza crust was burnt. Didn’t see til we got home. Seems service is just worse with each new owner. We KNOW what quality food there is, as a number of our family members have worked there over the years. It’s just such a disappointment. Don’t charge to remove an ingredient from a pizza. Waseca has other chicken and pizza options. We will be exploring those options for awhile. Hope you can do better! You have good food, recipes…to work with.

Katie was our server and she was the best of the best taking care of us! But this was the second time I brought people here and the Pizza buffet needs to get it together ! We all got 3 pieces of pizza and the counter was empty most of the time! Lots of working guys need more than that! Several groups walked in and saw the empty counter and walked out! Know there are new owners , but again need to make it better!
