Our breakfast at Farmer's Plate Hometown Cafe this morning was fantastic! It screams homemade and was super delicious. I would absolutely recommend trying the chicken fried steak. Their sausage gravy is so, so good 👍 and the breakfast potatoes... Yum!!!

Oh my goodness. If you’re in the neighborhood and need a home cooked meal. Search no further, In fact your nose will probably lead you right to this amazing establishment!!! The Savory omelet was just what this guy needs😊

LOVE this place! The amazing food is only the beginning of the long list of great things you’ll find here. Cody is an experienced chef with lots of creative and delicious ideas! The waitstaff is always smiling and attentive. I go every week and would miss the food, the people, and the atmosphere, if they weren’t around. The only negative I have to share is that they aren’t open on Mondays or for evening dinners. Otherwise, I dare you to find someplace better than Farmer’s Plate!

Let me start off with the positives. First the food quality is still phenomenal and the wait staff is very professional and courteous. Now on to the negatives. First issue is even though the wait staff is professional and courteous they lack promptness. When we sat our waitress was quick to take our drink and food orders however we needed a few minutes to look over the menu and decide which led to a 15 minute wait before she came back. Mind you it was not crazy busy and a long standing patron of the original R & B I know just how busy this place could be but even in the busiest of rushes it was never like this. Nextly once our order was placed it took over 20 minutes to receive our food and again the old R & B never took that long even with the busiest rush on Sunday in all actuality even on those days you would still receive your food within 5 to 10 minutes of placing your order. Nextly the other issue is the waitress never checked up on us to see if we needed refills on our drinks which we did and was sitting without drinks for over 15 minutes of which we had to flag her down just to get it resolved. That being said im still very happy with the quality of the food but the service really needs to step it up. I know there will be growing pains with néw owners however these wait times on food especially with it not being slammed busy is crazy along with wait staff needing to pay more attention to their customers.

We were really disappointed today. My husband and I went for breakfast. I ordered coffee that I never got and he ordered a house omelet. No one ever came to check on us and they set the food down and left so quickly that we didn’t get a chance to let them know. My husbands order wasn’t even close to an omelet. Our waitress in the meantime knew the group of people that sat behind us and sat down to chat with them for a few minutes. I didn’t get a chance to let her know that our order was wrong until we got the check. She did at least take the cost of the coffee off the bill but we were still overcharged due to the mistake they made with my husbands meal. We will probably try them again and see at some point but very disappointed today!

n my role as their accounting vendor, I've had the privilege of working with Farmers Plate in Watertown, and let me tell you, they're impressive! While I haven't had the chance to dine there myself (yet!), everything points to a fantastic restaurant experience.

Working with Cody and his wife has been an absolute pleasure. Their dedication and passion for the restaurant business are truly inspiring. It's clear they're committed to providing a top-notch experience for their customers.

One thing that particularly stood out was Cody's background in the restaurant industry. Even though I work as their accounting vendor, not in the food industry directly, I've heard nothing but great things about the restaurant itself, and Cody's experience definitely contributes to that.

From my interactions, it seems Farmers Plate prioritizes not only delicious food but also building strong relationships with their partners. If their service is anything like the level of care Cody demonstrates, then this is a restaurant you don't want to miss! I can't wait to try their food for myself and experience Farmers Plate firsthand.

We had breakfast here and the food and staff were absolutely amazing! My son and husband are biscuits and gravy fans and Chef Cody’s were rated an 11/10! I had the eggs benedict and was blown away. The food is just like your grandma used to make but even better. The portions are large, the flavor outstanding and the staff were attentive to every need!
