We were just passing through town, getting a little hungry, and we saw this place with a bunch of motorcycles out front. (We know what that means!) We went in, sat at the bar, got served by the owner (Greg, I think). I had chili, the wife had a philly steak sammich. Fantastic! We hung out for a while, watched a little football, and met some of the locals. Great food, fun people, nice place. We'll be back!

They destroyed my out of state ID and then refused to serve me. This bar really has gone down hill, probably the last time I'll step foot inside.

Came to Riverside for their Friday Fish Fry which is offered year round. This is your typical neighborhood bar, filled with locals all having a great time. There are a couple of big TVs, a pool table, and darts. The server/bartender was super friendly and kept up on drinks incredibly well considering how busy it was. The fish fry was AWESOME. The fish was super crispy with a lightly seasoned batter. Came served with crinkle fries and some of the best toast I have ever had. Only $11 - I will DEFINITELY be coming back.
Clean, friendly, delicious, kid friendly bonus! Greg was very kind and outgoing. We will be back!!!!

PRO: Beautiful views, great food & local drinks & atmosphere after a long trek or recreation.CON:You have to live here to find it or navigate it's squinty, wonky website (spent 20 minutes trying to find the menu & learn it's hours). You'll end up driving there with your family to realize it's ALWAYS closed, or circle up & down Skyline Pkwy wondering where the place even is (Upper? Lower? Middle?? ... especially for those not familiar with Duluth).-ZERO advertising & un-inviting marketing, it's such a missed opportunity(ies). Revamp the web advertising & The Harvard Facebook. Make a commercial or two. Offer a junkmailbox flyer-coupon to really advertise what would be a hot-spot for a do-all recreation, food, friends & family fun complex kinda day/night. You know, the basics.

Awesome burgers to choose from. I had the cowboy burger and my wife had the mushroom Swiss. Both were fantastic!
