Very disappointed- won’t be back. I had the walleye which was flavorless. The hash browns were inedible due to them swimming in grease.

Ranchero was recommended to us so we drove down from the Twin Cities to try. We were disappointed in the food - my wife had the walleye which was cook to temp but had no flavor, I had the pork schnitzel that also had no flavor. The relish tray was unimpressive- perhaps my expectations were a bit high but I couldn’t recommend this to my friends.

A locals favorite place to eat. 4 of us.
I had the baby back ribs, coleslaw and hash browns. Hash browns were great, the rest was ok. Good size portions.
Everyone enjoyed the food.
Wait staff was awesome.

Old vintage atmosphere. Very good food. Menu is typical of a supper club. Some traditional Swiss entres.

Just like my grandma's cooking. Deliciously prepared German comfort food. Small town ambiance. Great place to visit for some good old-time comfort food.

I guess we got the new waitress. Because our food never came out. She actually ask us if we needed our check, and we answered with "but we are still waiting for dinner". The last 2 times we tried to eat there....have been not good.

The person working the front was absolutely wonderful. The service was spectacular. I had the pork snitzel which was bland. The ribs were cooked and the sauce was thrown on top. The steak came out rare which was inedible. The atmosphere I wanted to see German decor. Maybe a zicke zacke hoi hoi hoi chant once in a while. I got no German experience at all. This place is just a supper club with a KC hall experience.

Really disappointing dinner. 7:00 PM reservation, food was served at 8:30. Steaks were thoroughly overcooked, hash browns were soggy. $200 for four people. Very overpriced for the quality of food.
