After dining last night at Tradewinds I can truly say we will NEVER return.
- soup bowls look like little sauce containers you receive to put wasabi in. Way too small!
- $32.00 for nothing like it used to be
- salmon was disgusting and fishy tasting
- Mac n cheese was bland
- Asian area was closed
- lack of meatless opportunities
My friend can’t eat meat and when we asked what appeared to be a cook about the meatless options he was extremely rude and pointed to the salad bar. She can’t eat meat by choice, she has a medical condition and can’t eat any meat.
We thought maybe there was a soup choice for her and that was not the case. The soup had meat and mushy noodles.
After sitting without any refills we finally had to ask someone to fill up our glasses.
After this experience and rude staff we will never return to this casino!

Old Country Buffet or Golden Coral equivalent but astronomical prices for the poor quality food. Salad bar was basic, various wild rice and chili soups had burned film over them, pasta dishes were similarly burned and dry and frankly, the negative reviews of the meats are accurate with them being nothing better than reheated cafeteria meats. Worst of all, the desserts were dismal with marble cake with minimal frosting, no cheese cakes or pies. I had eaten half a lemon poppy cake and within 10 minutes, the cake had solidified due to it being so dry. Overall, the experience is disappointing because we had driven from the cities to this location. Our money would have been better spent at a Pizza Ranch or similar ilk. Other things to note, parking was abominable as people were literally fighting over spaces and the inside of the casino was pretty dull. Certainly not worth the drive and the food was really that bad.

We had a complimentary hotel stay on 1/31 it was the horrible experience I’ve experienced at a hotel the toilet didn’t flush so we had to pour water in the back of the toilet in order for it to flush I contacted the front desk and they said they didn’t have any more rooms available it was about 3:40 so they finally sent maintenance and they said they had to order parts for the next day so when we checked out the bathroom still wasn’t fixed and we used the bathroom earlier before we found out it wasn’t working so after that we had to go down to the 1st floor to use the bathroom about 4:am we were treated in fair and then we checked out the offer us a food voucher I feel bad we had to smell the bathroom the rest of our stay it sucks

My parents were very disappointed with this place. They'd always say this was one of the best buffets, and they had always wanted to take my sister and I. The food quality they said was horrible compared to how it used to be.

This is one of the worst buffets I have ever been to.
I used to enjoy it here, they had best pot roast and Asian. Now the pot roast was tough and tasteless. The fried chicken breast was all grease. The Asian had one choice and it was fair at best.
The prim rib was at least tender. I tried the turkey (or chicken) a la king was the best thing that I had and it had almost no taste. The only thing in the desert bar that was good was the Pineapple upside-down cake. The cherry pie was so sour and tart I could not even eat more then one bite.
I finally gave up and went to the salad bar, which was well stocked and I enjoyed that.
But $37 for this buffet was just ridiculous especially when the only thing that was good was the salad bar. I will NEVER go back.

Went there for Thanksgiving remebering how good the buffet was 8ish years ago. Turkey was terrible and tasted like it was precooked. Green bean casserole had no French onions and the sauce had a weird taste. Apple pie wasn't even edible. The mash potatoes were very good, the prime rib was good, and the self serve ice cream was good. Our waitress was amazing.
Not even worth $30 for two and we paid $80. Serious serious let down.

I'm not really sure how to rate this. Went to the thanksgiving dinner. We really didn't even get a chance to talk or anything before we were asked if we were going to get more food and being asked if we were getting more food is just a very rushed Thanksgiving dinner I really did not enjoy myself and my family wasn't happy. Felt Very very very rushed. I got a plate of salad and sat down and it was already asked if we were going to get a second plate. They needed to shut down.

DIRTY DISHES! I am now very sick and nauseous, hours after eating the breakfast buffet. This was a bad idea. All dishes were caked with dirt, food, and grime. Disgusting, even with low standards. Worst buffet I have ever been to, absolutely no selection either. Gross.

This is mainly about the express breakfast. Price of 14.99, ok .. servers, all great and accommodation, the breakfast selection ? L a u g h a b l e. This was maybe 15% of the serving space used, and the line was l o n g for everyone who wasn't there when it opened. This concept needs to be rethought before trying again. Again, all the employees helping were excellent, this is a review on the "express breakfast buffet" being a thing.

Don't let the Karen's and Brad's deceive you. The selection isn't the same since Covid, but I took a group of 6 ranging from 19 to 76. Everyone loved the food including myself. The prime rib was tender, fried chicken was great, mashed potatoes were delicious, and the desert section had many options to choose from. I didn't try the salad bar (not my thing) but I also heard that was good. We went on a Saturday around 5ish when they opened. The service we had was amazing, she was attentive, caring, and charismatic. No one told me to write this, I just don't think they deserve the ratings they have.
