Oh, I am so happy to see Omar's Kitchen is still open. It's been a few years since I have been in Minnesota. I live in Canada and am awaiting a better time to travel. The sunday Brunch at Omar's is wonderful. If you are making a weekend of it; try Area 57 Diner in nearby Wanamingo for saturday lunch before heading to Omar's for sunday brunch and that's a pretty darned good double whammy. Somehwere in there add a dinner at the Mill street tavern in Cannon...
we have eaten at Omar’s on a number of times, and their Sunday brunch cannot be beat! Great food, well prepared, and a very friendly staff. the bread pudding, with vanilla sauce (made with actual vanilla bean), too yummy for words!
Excellent food! Fresh fruit. Tender meat and multiple choices. A variety of salads. Mashed potatoes. Several dessert choices. Omelettes and waffles to order. It's a great Sunday buffet! Friendly workers.
