I tried Ali Baba's today for the first time, and really enjoyed my gyro. I had read a few 2-3 star reviews and was hesitant, but the quality was really good and the food came out quickly. I'd put it one notch above Dyno's Gyro's. I'll be back soon to try more items!
The food was ok. The best of it was the baba ghanoush, the gyro meat was a little dry and the rice was just yellow (didn't taste like anything). The pricing for everything was ok. I honestly think you can find better value elsewhere. Long wait for the food and it was very middle of the road. Overall an ok experience.
As a descendant of a Lebanese immigrant who was raised on home made Lebanese food, is very picky when it comes to any middle eastern or Greek food and has high standards for my favorite comfort food… this place rocks. I wish I knew it was here sooner because I’m less than a mile away. Will definitely be a regular customer. If you’re in the area you have to check it out!!!
