Great coffee! Ordered the Real Carmel Mocha, it was delicious. Great service. Breakfast sandwich was ok but doesn't have much flavor. Soup was very good.

Update: It might just be the fact that I am a creature of habit, or it might be that I have literally NEVER had a subpar experience here, but I am amending my earlier review: rather than just being in the top three of Twin Cities coffee shops, I would now place it at the very top of the list. Their creativity in specialized drinks is unmatched and there's nobody with better service. Much love to my other top places, but Amorè has secured the #1 spot.

what follows is my original review:

This is the best coffee shop in the southern side of Saint Paul and one of the top three in the entire Twin Cities. I got a Breve which was one of the most excellent ones I have had in years, and I also got a vegetarian quiche which came with two small slices of toasted French bread and a pat of butter; the quiche was good enough that I could easily see myself eating several.

I'd not been in years but Amore is just as good as I remember, and my growth in my ability to appreciate different qualities of coffee makes it even more evident what a treasure this place is in the community. I walk here at least once or twice a month just because I enjoy the establishment, and whenever I need to meet up with someone but not at my apartment, this is where I choose (especially over something like Starbucks). Not just because I oppose the homogenization of modern society, and because I always try to support small businesses when possible, but because it's genuinely the best public location nearby to meet up with someone. As in my earlier review, the coffee is roasted in house, extremely high quality , the drinks (like lattes, cappuccinos, con miél, etc) are expertly prepared, and there's a lot of good food - not in the variety or volume of a café, but that's an advantage rather than a problem. Amoré is a coffee shop, not a restaurant. I am actually going this afternoon, so I'll take a few pictures.

Vegetarian options: Food menu isn't huge but it's over 90% vegetarian (or can be prepared vegetarian), simply by virtue of it being coffee shop style fare; obviously pastries are vegetarian, and they offer a selection of sandwiches and a daily quiche special (always a vegetarian option available too).

Less common are fully vegan or gluten free options, but they are there.

This is the Pearl of The West Side! Great coffee and baked goods. Plus, they have wonderful live music there on occasion!

The quality of the coffee remains excellent, but it appears that the staff may be experiencing some challenges in maintaining a positive customer interaction. While I have never felt unwelcome at this establishment, my most recent visit left me with the impression that the staff members were not particularly enthusiastic about their jobs. It is unfortunate that this has occurred, as it detracts from the overall experience.

Excellent service! Comfortable, welcoming vibe, great place to relax, visit with friends or study.

Kid-friendliness: This coffee shop is very kid-friendly.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are several restrooms including a large wheelchair-accessible restroom. There is also a side entrance to the shop for easy wheelchair access.

I have been meaning to stop here for a while, but I'm always passing on my way home from work and take a different route in the morning.
Today was finally the day! I stopped in and decided on a cold brew, the Charlie, and a breakfast sammy. The cold brew was almost good enough to drink straight, but I added my oatmilk creamer once I got to work to make it perfect. The Charlie was a brown sugar latte. I asked for oatmilk and it tastes like coffee cake, yum! The breakfast sandwich was on the small side but warm and filling.
Service was fast and friendly and the shop itself was clean and inviting. Will be back!
